Good buy

Pros: Nice reliable CPU for the money.
Cons: Too bad Socket 775 is being phased out. They did well over their life. I have a couple of Socket 775 computers around that I like to keep running, along with DDR2 memory (RIP).
Frustrating

Pros: Laid out nice.
Cons: After two boards, I still can't get dual-channel memory to work. Yes, I tried slot 1 & 3 and 2 & 4. I tried two sets of dual-channel memory (both on Gigabyte's list) Neither set would even get to the BIOS screen. The computer powers up, then after a couple of seconds powers down, then recycles. Both sets work fine in a different model Motherboard. If I put the memory in slot 1 it will boot to the BIOS screen. Same thing if I put the memory in slot 1 & 2. Of course it comes up single channel. I have Googled this problem and see that it is a problem with this board.
Overall Review: If anyone knows how to get dual-channel to work, please publish it. Before you come up with the obvious questions, please re-read what I have said and tried. Both (new) boards did the same thing.
Constantly drops wireless

Pros: Good range, works good when it doesn't drop out.
Cons: In spite of the easy setup, this router drops wireless all the time. Going to all forums to find a cure didn't solve the issue.
Overall Review: Don't buy!
Heatsink problem

Pros: Very nice board, I have another (version 6.4). Sets up nice, BIOS is great, runs everything.
Cons: This board, although it is a Biostar G41-M7, was modified and now has three "R60" parts close to the CPU that are so tall they won't allow a standard Intel heatsink to contact the CPU without modifying the heatsink fins (cutting out three sections). I just about sent the board back except I had several extra Intel heatsinks, so I just modified one.
Great board

Pros: Inexpensive, completely functional, easy to set up. Would definitely buy again for a modest system.
Cons: Not really cons but memory is DDR2 which I wanted at the time since I was replacing only the Motherboard and had the DDR2. Also only one PCIE x 16 slot but that too was fine since I loaded it with a GeForce GTX 550Ti graphics card that was plenty fast.
QUIET!!

Pros: Quietest drive I own.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I installed this drive in my HD TIVO after the previous two both made a clunking, clicking noise all the time. This drive solved that. Now my wife (who complained about the noise) and I are happy with our no-noise replacement.
