I purchased a "New" copy of Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Switch but was sent a clearly used copy. The box itself has a sticker on it along with it being resealed. I understand this company is known for selling refurbished items but at time of purchase, it stated "New." I plan on updating this review once their customer service contacts me but I want to put this out there. Go ahead and trust the reviews on Newegg about this company. How can they so blatantly sell me a used item when advertised as New. The only upside is the package was shipped after 24 hours and arrived in 3 business days. So shipping is a pro and everything else is a con. Ok so I finally got in contact with customer service after an email and two phone calls. I have received a partial refund due to the issue. I was told this is one a one time exception made for me....but it is still false advertising and they made it sound like they did me a favor. So to recap. Ordered new item, received used. Customer service is not very responsive to emails and took 2 phone calls in order to get in contact with someone. First rep that called me was supposed to follow up with me but never did. Finally received partial refund but I do not plan on purchasing from this seller again.
