Pros: Memory works well at the rated 3800 speed.
Cons: One of the four memory LED's failed within the first month of use and since it is a matched set of four I have to do without my computer while I send it back to GSkill for replacement.
Overall Review: Pain in the but* to get replaced.
Cons: The description on NewEgg says no drivers required, but the card is not recognized by windows 10 if drivers are pre-loaded from the cd that comes with the unit. After pre-installing the drivers, I attached six drives to this unit but only 3 show up at boot, and windows 10 does not find those 3 drives. The read me instructions are poor and that is being gentle. Basically a piece of junk.
Overall Review: This would be a nice unit if I could actually get it to work.
Pros: Installed card, tested, everything is fine. Can play any games I have at full resolution without lag, tearing, etc. Have not tried 4k yet but I really don't have any games that require 4k.
Overall Review: Would recommend. Best value for the price.
Pros: It was pretty fast for the 35 or so minutes it lasted.
Cons: Plugged the drive into the computer, powered it up, Windows 10 recognized it and assigned a drive letter and path. Started to copy files over from my almost full media drive. After about 30 minutes the drive stopped copying. I checked the computer, the drive no longer existed in Windows. Tried WD Data Lifeguard to see if I could revive the drive, no luck. Moved the drive to my testing computer and plugged it into the external test bay. The drive clicked and clicked but no luck. RMA'd the drive back Newegg. Waiting on another drive.
Overall Review: This is the first WD drive I have ever used that failed before thousands of hours of use, so I have always had a lot of trust in WD. I'll wait and see until I get the next Black 6TB drive.
Pros: None if you have an AMD Boatd.
Cons: This memory is not compatible with AMD 7th generation processor. It will throw random bizarre errors such as incompatibility errors with your SSD drive, or issues with software such as Gold Mine. You have been warned.
Overall Review: Check the approved list of memory for your motherboard/processor combination. Pa very close attention to the EXACT manufacturer's part number for the RAM, because close is not enough, it must be exact.
Pros: They fit.
Cons: They burnt out in a matter of hours.
Overall Review: I bought four of these in case I ever needed spares. The first pair burned out within hours of installation. I replaced with the second pair and they burned out within a couple of hours also. Cheap junk. The only reason I rated them a one is because I cannot rate them lower.
Pros: The case is pretty solid and I can place my 24" monitor on it with no problem.
Cons: The two 80mm fans in the rear literally disintegrated. That's right, the fan blades actually cracked in half , both of them, after about seven months. I have never seen anything like it before.
Overall Review: I am going to try to get Apevia to replace my fans since they were purchased in January and they have already exploded.
Pros: This is the first crimping tool that I have ever used that correctly crimps tiny automotive pin connectors for factory plugs.
Cons: Wish they were a little smaller so I could get into tight places.
Overall Review: Professional grade and should last me the rest of my life, if they don't get permanently borrowed!
Pros: Very reliable, stable service for the past year at 2.4ghz. Advertised speeds are achievable during periods of low network traffic.
Cons: This card has trouble finding my Linksys ac1900 router at 5ghz and when it does find the router I have not been able to keep this card connected at 5ghz. All of my other devices are using the 5ghz range with no difficulty.
Overall Review: Maybe the issues with this adapter is the reason Linksys stopped making internal wifi adapters.
Pros: I have used several of this Kingston series in various builds and have had no failures to date. I expect the same from this drive. It is difficult to compare SSD drives when talking about seat of the pants speed because all of the different brands I have used are fast. I guess time will tell concerning long-term reliability but for now I give 5 stars..
Pros: I always trust Gskill and this memory is no different. Works perfectly.
Pros: After about a month this fan still is the quietest case fan I have used to date.
Pros: Cheap, worked for 2 years.
Cons: Have to change it again but oh well.
Pros: Works exactly as it should, no problems.
Pros: I cannot overheat my AMD 9730 on a gigabyte 990fxa-ud5 rev 3.0 despite trying my best. It handles PRIME95 with ease, same for Sandra. In fact, I am still trying to figure out how to get my cpu to run at 4.9 gb reliably. It seems the wall for my cpu is not heat, but the quality of the processor.
Cons: If you do not have a deep case, forget it. I am using a Blackhawk ultra and it works fine in that case, but that case is also very deep. Also, not much room for the ram under the cooler, I had to take off the cooling fins on my ram, which are basically just for show in my experience. I mean, the fins are held on with double-sided 3M sticky tape, which does not transfer heat well if at all.
Overall Review: With PRIME95 for 24 hours on torture test, my cpu never got above 41C as measured by CPUID and OCCT.
Pros: This SSD seems faster than my Intel but maybe it is only my imagination. No problems to date.
Pros: I bought this memory for a simple media computer, did not really need all 8 gigs but hey, it was pretty cheap. Then to my amazement, the old version 1.1 gigabyte (AMD) ga-990xa-ud3 motherboard I used for the system automatically recognized and configured it for 1600 Mhz, something it had never done for any other memory above 1333 that I had tried. The memory so far runs smooth as silk, burned in with PRIME96 24 hours.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: The cable is pretty much the same as the quality that comes with a good computer case. Works as advertised, no issues.
Pros: The switches are extremely sturdy, currently powering 17 fans (yes 17)
in a Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra case. Nothing overheats.
Cons: The frame that holds the switches is not extremely sturdy
Overall Review: switching the sturdy switches cause the frame to bend?
