Pros: - Easy installation, no frills. My first ever build and was easy to comprehend the wiring etc. - Pretty quiet during normal computing and DOOM 2016 gaming as well

Cons: None so far!

First great headset!!

Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset
Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset

Pros: Its simply great!! The headsets looks amazingly insane, the black-red combo with Fatal1ty symbols all over it. Very good sound quality, and good mike reception (had it tested on skype chat), detachable mike (very handy), 8 ft. cord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These are very comfortable, the earcups dont entirely cover my ears, but its fine. Soft cushioning given at the head contact. The earcups swivel, and the plastic housing around the earcups twist a bit to hold different heads (duh?!)

Cons: Well, i didnt expect the sound to come out of the headphones that much while listening to music at mid-range volume.

Overall Review: Other than the 1 con i found, its simply great!! I just didnt get the part where it says it might cause cancer if we dont wash our hands after using these (some rule/law devised by CA state). I'd definitely like to know whats up with that rule!!??

Worth every single penny!!

ASUS Laptop K52 Series Intel Core i5-450M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 310M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit K52JC-X2
ASUS Laptop K52 Series Intel Core i5-450M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 310M 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit K52JC-X2

Pros: Looks great, has a numpad, various options for battery backup (when plugged in, and on battery) like the Hybrid Engine, Power4Gear, Nvidia optimus (gotta love this one), multi-touch trackpad ( a la macbook) and it doesnt detect your palm while typing, spacious keys on keyboard (and cant stop using the keyboard, its just so comfy), VERY silent no matter what abuse it takes, fairly good speakers, no slots in the front and safely everything's at the either side (some may feel otherwise). The gameplay was pretty decent on mid-level graphics in CoD 6. Smooth gameplay, no glitches or lags. As opposed to some, the wi-fi reception is fine, else u you can uninstall the Boingo Wifi for any trouble.

Cons: WAY too many options to save your battery, is definitely a pain to keep track of 'em (switching all the time when gaming and not), too small arrow keys (may take sometime to get used to), speakers at the bottom (at an angle, but still!!), the multi-touch trackpad is not receptive at ALL times, s**tloads of bloatware. About being VERY silent, if the environment around you is silent, a slight sound of some sort can be heard beneath the trackpad. Just one vent for the fan at the left. The heat can be felt when using WASD keys for gaming, rest of the laptop is always cool.

Overall Review: A very decent laptop worth buying for casual (and above) gaming and general usage. I get roughly 3-4 hours worth battery juice at normal settings and using the Optimus tech. to use the on-board graphics for internet surfing and normal offline work. For gaming, its ALWAYS plugged in (just in case). Other than the bloatware and the minor sound below the trackpad (hoping it stays minor), i'd recommend this to anyone having this laptop in their list of choice!!
