Top notch enclosures

Pros: Multiple I/O ports are great for flexibility. Casing is elegant, stylish, but robust. Purchased for external RAID array, works flawlessly.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I have three Vantec enclosures and I have been very impressed with their products. Best enclosures I've used to date (have both 3.5" and 2.5" enclosures).
Excellent so far

Pros: Installation into an Early-2011 15" MacBook Pro was quick and painless. POST checked out, RAM test was good, so far no issues to speak of. With the extra RAM available there is a lot more room for Inactive memory which allows previously opened apps to start MUCH faster. I still have the stock 750GB hard drive in. With 16GB far more can remain in RAM which means I'm not accessing the hard drive nearly as much.
Cons: None that I've encountered. This much RAM is costly but that goes with the territory.
Overall Review: Bottom line: Increasing maximum RAM can effectively boost productivity in all areas if you have a traditional HDD. For now, purchasing extra RAM is a much better investment than a gigantic SSD. Not the same performance boost but a much more economical one.
Fast, Quiet, Well Priced

Pros: Excellent value for a 7200RPM portable drive. Installed in a MacBook Pro 13" as well as an external enclosure and did not notice any excessive noise or vibration. I couldn't even say that it was more noticeable than the 5400RPM drives I have.
Cons: None that I've encountered, however I've only had it for a little over a month.
Solid Drive, Solid Price

Pros: Good performance for a 5400RPM drive. Battery life was not noticeably shorter with this drive in. Quiet operation, little to no vibration under load. I've had it for just over 4 months and it's been a solid drive. Got it at a pretty decent price.
Cons: None just a couple of important notes. 1. This is not a 7200RPM drive, don't expect that kind of performance. 2. 640GB isn't the biggest 9.5mm drive you can get. If you're restricted to the 9.5mm form factor and want maximum storage, go for a 750GB.
Good low end RAM

Pros: Installed with no problems, dual-channel recognized, price was right.
Cons: None
Overall Review: You get what you pay for. In my personal experience, if you want top quality RAM, go with OCZ, Corsair, or Mushkin (I've heard good things about many others, those are the ones I have had excellent experiences with).
Good entry level card

Pros: Good low end DX10 card. Best part was the price paid. Takes the load of the poor integrated graphics.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Don't expect much from this card, it's entry level. This isn't in a gaming system so I can't make a rating based on that. Works great on a basic music composition/office computer.
