SUPER GREAT SLI <3 <3!!!!!!
Pros: -Runs COOL 68C @max with fans at 100% ~53-57db -Oerclocked SLI 930/2050 @1.37v -31-32k 3dmark vantage ALL games WILL run maxed out (not metro 2033 with 4XAA i had to leave it at AAA setting) -Crysis 2 with tesslation, Ultra Setting texture Pack, 1.9 update MAXXED OUT! 60+FPS all day long! -when system is at idle the Fan noise is low 30db or less
Cons: ~53-57db MAX fan speed These are the loudest things in my system -A single card was not enough for my 28" Hanns-g 1920x1200
Overall Review: -when system is at idle the total wattage is 150W -when system is at load the total wattage is 550W-580W -3dmark2011 drew the most load at 596W just for a bit (my 650W 52A single rail psu is just enough, if i overvolt anymore, overclock my cards anymore. 607W wall rading the system hard resets :() i2500k asus sli mobo 4.5Ghz @1.4V 8GB of ram 110gb OCZ Raid-0 pci-e 4X SSD 500MB read 600MB Write 7.9 windows index with 1TB 6gbs seagate drive for storage
IT WILL HAVE TO DO - 607W it fails
Pros: quiet
Cons: when my watt-o meter plugged trough to the computer only, when the wall reads over 607W it fails. causing a loss of power hence a hard reset after a few moments. 607W it fails meaning it is probably a 550W with a different sticker. 650W is supposed to be Vdc output wattage and at 54A on the 12V line I would have expexted more. 54 x 12V = 648W?????? only two watts left for the +5,+3.3,-12,+5USB?? 607W it fails DO NOT BUY I cannot overclock my videocards in sli any more with out going over this overrated psu's limit. 607W it fails at the wall, you should be cable to pull at least 700W with out problem, due to compensation for heat dissipation and efficiency on the DC side of things
Overall Review: too much money for what this is... i feel ripped off.
top top top
Pros: quiet cool big
Cons: 775/1155 mounting hardware not pre-installed. :(
Overall Review: 4.5 GHZ i2500K @1.4V 70c ambient 42c at idle 72c MAX prime 95 Great price/Performace point!
Replace the GTX260!!!!!
Pros: -Runs COOL 68C @max with fans at 100% ~53-57db -gets 15,358 3dmark vantage [email protected] @1.15v -plays everything i through at it on high settings. -Newegg Delivers FAST!
Cons: -~53-57db These are the loudest things in my system -will not run metro 2033 on ultra settings smoothy, cure sli...*
Overall Review: I have this directly hooked up to my 42" 1080P 60hz Dynex (best buy brand) ALL games will run smooth with a little in-game settings tweaking. FAST CARD!
Budget BLASTER
Pros: This little bugger is at 3.2 52c MAX load @1.3V orthos, prime, GTA4, you name it. Blazing fast compared to the PIII 750mhz it replaced. I would recommend the newer wolfdale with 1MB of cache.
Cons: older technology. intel is going to put an on-chip memory controller on all new 32nm cpu's. (this only took intel 10 years, LOL AMD has done it for a long time)
Overall Review: Paired with 4GB of ram and onboard video on a budget board, a zalman 9700 cools this spud quite well. My uncle was very Enthusiastic about his new found speed!!!!
OKIE DOKIE
Pros: Good air flow with the rear exhaust case fan blowing in, to create positive pressure inside the case so video card and power supply stay very cool. Furthermore dust will not enter your case from every open crevasse. only where the fans are!!!!!!!!!!! then you could filter your case easily :)
Cons: not the best design in the world for the hard drives, but the antec 900 is pretty much the same way.
Overall Review: overall good case and my customer was happier than a pig in shoooot!!!!! C2Q8400 @ 3.4(proc would not go 3.6 no matter the voltage) 8gb ddr1066 @ cas 4-4-4-12 gtx260 ga-p45-ud3r 2X1TB raid 0 caviar black
