Coboc HS-15 15 ft. HDMI High Speed with Ethernet - Type A to Type A
Coboc HS-15 15 ft. HDMI High Speed with Ethernet - Type A to Type A

Pros: Works as good as any hdmi cable i've owned. no quality loss over length. Durable, lots of action goes on around the cords but so far they're holding their own :)

Cons: It didn't plug itself in?!

Overall Review: Before you think this must be a bad cable just because its cheap you must realize what it is you need from the cable and what it is that the cable offers. Hdmi cords have different features that vary by version, and all hdmi cords are backwards compatiable so a version 1.4 cord will work with a 1.2 device but not vice versa. The main difference in the versions are the features offered, for example 1.4 introduced 4k resolution support, an hdmi ethernet channel, audio return, and also 3-d. So if you're looking for an hdmi cord do the research and look at features and specs before the price tag.

Assassins Creed 3

Assassin's Creed III PS3
Assassin's Creed III PS3

Pros: -The naval missions are refreshing if you get tired of running through a lively early America. The scenery and gameplay slightly changes for better or worse (running in deep snow is annoying, storms feel authentic, and summer is beautiful) depending on the weather season and time -A fresh take on history. Some real events, most of which connor provides a welcome twist to are just more things to keep you involved and interested in the events and characters in the story as it unfolds -Mini games can be fun to play. I personally enjoyed an occasional game of checkers after a successful memory sync -The fast travel system is a welcome addition when you just want to do missions or go from point a to b -The fighting system is just as brutal and satisfying as previous installments including double executions and bone crushing ddts -Hunting will be half of your total playtime -If you aren't a completionist you can handle most missions in a play style that suits you

Cons: -The item crafting and stockpiling ect feels bland and more of a chore than a feature, navigating the menu alone can make you just want to hunt for the extra money. Some special items are worth crafting but most require far progression in building the homestead -Side missions are basically collect items, deliver letters, and assassinate an a.i. that provides little to no challenge -Revealing the whole map and discovering some side missions, and fort takeovers require you to explore almost the whole map as synchronizing only uncovers so much -Assassin recruit contracts still don't offer much besides xp money and items, although their abilities are worthwhile -The underground is atmospheric and large but was a good idea wasted. It's a maze that you probably wont fully explore -You almost have to go out of your way to scale buildings and jump roof to roof (one of the series' trademarks) because fast travel or simply because running or horseback is faster half the time, which leads to...... -The game is too linear when in New York and Boston. The freedom previous installments provided is sadly missed -You can obtain a nice inventory but switching between your weapons that aren't assigned to a d-pad direction mid-fight can be an annoyance and is a set back to the otherwise engaging combat

Overall Review: -Missions could benefit from a multiple scenario system -I cant comment on multiplayer as I haven't tried it -Its basically a re-skin of previous assassins creed titles, at times for the better but mostly for the worse. The game takes 2 steps forward and 2 back, one can only hope the next installment runs full speed ahead and doesn't look back -I like the idea that the dev's are open to change but I think they may be wandering too far from the series' roots.

ASUS VX248H 24" FHD 1920 x 1080 Gaming Monitor, 60 Hz 1ms Response Time (GTG), Flicker Free, Built-in Speakers
ASUS VX248H 24" FHD 1920 x 1080 Gaming Monitor, 60 Hz 1ms Response Time (GTG), Flicker Free, Built-in Speakers

Pros: The picture quality is superb with a wide range of colors so tweaking is advised. Has enough connectors for my needs and there's adapters out there for any future expansions or projects. My first monitor and it puts every smart tv 3dtv or any other tv with a complex I've owned to shame, Except.....

Cons: Refresh rate is only 60hz :( 120hz would've made a BIG difference especially with the G2G 2MS response time. Speakers lacking on the bass side though it does have a 3.5mm jack for headphones or speakers. Could use a few more video options but it has plenty for the average user. Power cord comes with a brick but I guess that's not necessarily all bad. One problem though is it seems to be a little picky about which hdmi cords it will work with, but not enough to take an egg, yet :/

Overall Review: For the price you could do better or worse, although I think this was a smart purchase you may want more features and less size or vice versa. I couldn't be happier, my next gen systems seem to feel like they're finally at home and my monitor helps keep it a happy family -_-V

Ok quality for cost

Coboc U2-A2MICROB-10-BK Black Black High speed USB2.0 A Male to Micro B Male (5-Pin ) Cable
Coboc U2-A2MICROB-10-BK Black Black High speed USB2.0 A Male to Micro B Male (5-Pin ) Cable

Pros: The cord is long enough to suit my needs. Charged all the devices I've personally tried.

Cons: B connector kind of sticks out and wiggles while the A side fits snug. Not a problem yet but it is a concern so I try not to be too rough with it, we'll see how long it lasts.

Overall Review: Other than a wiggly connector I don't have any other gripes as of now, it works as advertised.

Now all my laptop needs is lemonade

Cooler Master NotePal X-Lite - Laptop Cooling Pad with 140 mm Fan
Cooler Master NotePal X-Lite - Laptop Cooling Pad with 140 mm Fan

Pros: This made an immediate impact, within 5 minutes of plugging it in it was as cool as it is when I first boot her up. Runs pretty quiet and provides ventilation even without being plugged in, this is achieved by design. The back of the cooler is raised a few inches higher than the front allowing air to get to the vents on the bottom. Looks durable but only time can tell how long it'll last. I was skeptical at first but you'd be amazed at how much of a difference a cooling pad can make, so far so good.

Cons: Other than no on off switch I have no complaints.

Overall Review: Nice product for regular use not sure how much of a difference it would make if used for gaming.

Worth the money

Pros: *Simple installation process (screws and a couple wires) *Feels sturdy and looks nice *Fan serves its purpose *Drive fits perfect *Good price

Cons: *Burn quality slightly worse due to the sata to usb conversion but that's expected so no complaints here

Overall Review: *Blue LED light adds a little style *Doesn't take up much space *Not too loud
