Pros: I bought two of these to replace two cheap 140s I had purchased because I need two top exhaust fans quick. Needless to say those sleeve bearings didn't last long. These seem to push quite a bit more air and are only marginally louder. Also being a ball instead of a sleeve, there should be no problem with them being horizontal.

Cons: As of tonight one of the fans has been set up for an RMA. The fan portion completely separated from the housing and went bouncing around in my case. Luckily nothing appears to be damaged, although the force did shut my PC down. The other fan is still running just fine so I really think I just got a good one and a bad one.

Overall Review: I was going to knock an egg off for the defective fan, but nothing is damaged and somebody's got to end up with a lemon at some point or another. I don't think it'd be a hard fix; it sounds like there's a pin under the sticker on the housing that holds the blade spindle to the rest of the fan. I imagine if I were to pull that sticker back I could fit both pieces back together, but I'd rather not take a chance on it happening again. Also, thank FSM for easy RMAs through Newegg!
