Works Fine

Pros: Cheap.
Cons: None, currently.
Overall Review: 3ft isn't as long as you think. Make sure you measure out how long you need before you get this.
Horrible New Model

Pros: Size, price. Reputable brand.
Cons: WD Smartware. The drive comes preloaded with a Virtual CD drive that attempts to install the WD Smartware software on every computer. The software can't be simply removed by a format, it is actually part of the drive's firmware. You need a special program or two from western digital to remove the stuff, or the use of a Windows XP install cd. Why would they try and force this stupid stuff on users? If you've ever used a thumb drive that had embedded U3 management tools on it, it is pretty much the same thing. The other big draw back with this drive is the micro usb connection. This isn't the now industry standard mini-usb connection. It uses a micro USB connector that is very fragile, falls out easily, and isn't used by many other devices. I have about 4 extra mini-usb connectors (which stayed in the drive easily) around my house but zero micro USB connectors.
Overall Review: If you work in any type of corporate environment, forget about using this drive there. No sys admin is going to allow you to install the virtual drives needed and it screws up recognition of the drives. Two of my users have brought me these hard drives at my workplace and I told them not to buy WD any more. Don't go with this drive, buy something that doesn't include what amounts to a root kit on their drive.
Great Performance and Value

Pros: Extremely cheap Wireless N (300Mbps) adapter. USB form factor (duh), includes extension cable. Great connection strength. Don't think it has ever dropped a connection.
Cons: Wide - will block other USB ports if you don't use the extension cable. Doesn't come in black. All my other gear is black, this is white only.
Overall Review: I bought this to mount on the inside of a Shuttle PC (connected off of a USB header). It gets 90 signal strength even inside a metal chasis and it has been problem free. Buy with confidence!
Great monitor - but only good at being a monitor

Pros: The monitor is gorgeous. Playback of HD video is flawless, color modes are nice. NO DEAD PIXELS. No ghosting during gaming. I don't have a problem with the stand at all (even using on a wobly support, ot on the floor in carpet) and levels of adjustment should be fine for normal use.
Cons: Speakers suck. Probably one of the worst set of integrated speakers I have ever heard. I usually don't even comment on them, but these are really bad. Also, the web cam doesn't work. I updated with the latest Vista(32bit) drivers off the ASUS site and the program crashes immediately after opening. For the first 4-6 hours, it was impossible to adjust the menu using buttons (menu would open, then close when I tried to change to a different menu category). As others have mentioned, there is a slowness that's mildly annoying when turning it on or POSTing. Most of these things are minor, and don't detract from it's primary purpose - being a monitor.
Overall Review: I am happy with the monitor. However, if given the chance again, I don't think I'd buy this monitor. I bought from ASUS (when I'm usually a cheap jerk) expecting to get a quality product and found a monitor that was not as good a value as the old 22" Rosewill I had. Nicer looking, though. If you're going to buy this type of monitor, get the one without the webcam and save yourself a few bucks.
Good, cheap monitor.

Pros: Cheap. I have seen others selling used 22" monitors for what I paid for this baby new. I haven't had any problems with ghosting, white seepage around the edges, or any of the issues you normally have with lower cost monitors. NO dead pixels. Everything looks beautiful on this puppy, especially games.
Cons: No DVI cord. For the price, that isn't too much of a hit, just make sure you buy a DVI Male to DVI Male cable when you purchase this.
Overall Review: Cable would have been nice. And that energystar sticker on the front is annoying.

Comments: I got this product when it didn't have the built in speakers. Product arriver overseas (Okinawa, Japan) in good shape. No dead pixels. The old version had a problem with the DVI port being blocked, but it looks like this newer version doesn't share it. Good that they took the feedback and used it. No ghosting playing Balltefield 2 or DoD:S. Would recommend and buy again.
