It works.

Pros: -Works pretty well for the price. -Known chipset, with nothing fancy done to it meaning you can easily go and get the up-to-date chipset drivers.
Cons: -While an improvement over my very old wireless B/G PCI card, it wasn't as much as I expected.
Overall Review: The price was right at the time, and it works. That's about it. I went from "Weak/Poor" signal to a fairly consistent "good/excellent" signal without adjusting the position of my WAP.
Overkill, but futureproof.

Pros: -Ridiculously fast -Comparatively cool-running compared to the previous chipset -Not a ridiculous power hog compared to previous gens of high-end cards.
Cons: -Comically big like most high-end cards. Make sure you don't need the PCI-E x1 slot you have directly below whichever slot you install this card in. -Pricey. I'm the type that only build a new rig every 3-4 years or so, and I go close to bleeding edge so it was worth it to me, but most people will be better served by a 670 or lower.
Overall Review: Remember that many games are CPU bottlenecked, not GPU bottlenecked. Remember this when system building. With an 3770k, 16gb of RAM, and this card I can pull a rock-solid (and I mean rock-solid) 60fps at all times in Skyrim at 1920x1200 with settings turned above the defaults for "ultra". Ditto for BF3.
