Overall good card

XFX GeForce 8800 GS 384MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card PVT88SFDF4
XFX GeForce 8800 GS 384MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card PVT88SFDF4

Pros: Price has gone up a little, but still this card has one of the the best performance per dollar ratios out there now.

Cons: The other posts are indeed correct, the fan is very loud. Do not get this card if you can't put up with a loud fan. I emailed XFX tech support and they said there's nothing that can be done about it...the two wire fans only has one speed, fast and loud.

Overall Review: I've played Crysis and Gears of War...medium settings with no AA and it still lags a little at times, but overall they're playable. I'm running with 4 Gigs of RAM and an Athlon X2 4600 processor.

Vista 32 bit can't use 4 GB of RAM

ADATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model AD2U800B2G5-DRH

Pros: The price was excellent, but the price has been inching up over the past few weeks. So far it has worked flawlessly.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Please note, vista 32 can't see all 4 GB of RAM. Vista 32 can address 4GB of memory, but this addressing has to be shared with the RAM, video RAM and other hardware, so in my case vista could only see 3GB of RAM. A little frustrating, but I upgraded to vista 64 and life is good.
