It has been dropped many times!8/14/2014 9:40:35 PM

Pros: The wireless range on this device is excellent and I use it regularly with my HTPC. I don't remember the last time I changed the battery in it, very efficient. Although, I do take the time to turn the switch on the bottom to "off" when I'm not using it; a very handy feature! Like the description says, been dropped plenty of times and although I've had to put it back together a few times it still works great. Gotta love Logitech! Having some simple media controls at the top goes a long way for listening to music or flipping through video clips or pictures. MPC and HoneyView FTW!

Cons: The keys don't give any sort of tactile response or satisfying "click" but hey, that's part of being so light and streamlined so it's not much of a complaint.

The battery light on top briefly fades in and out when you first "wake" the mouse up which is a nice feature as well; lets you know everything is good to go.

Cons: Would be nice if it was just slightly bigger but it is not uncomfortable to use.

Rock solid!8/14/2014 9:33:34 PM

Pros: Over a year now and still going strong. Never had a single issue with heat, supply, cables, or installation. Excellent design that keeps on keeping on. The modular cables are well wrapped and make my case clean and well ventilated without any excess.

Cons: none I can think of

Very handy!8/14/2014 9:28:03 PM

Pros: Works like a charm. I have plaster and textured drywall and haven't had difficulty finding studs since buying this tool.

Cons: none, you put batteries in it and it just does what it's supposed to.

Great card, good investment!8/14/2014 9:26:18 PM

Pros: Supports stream gaming very well which was the primary feature I was interested in. I can successfully stream games via Steam to any system on my LAN or VPN. Be warned though, you should understand the networking side of a streaming endeavor and don't assume just this card will allow you to do this smoothly. I can run most all modern games on high settings without complaints. Cooling performance is excellent without sacrificing slot size, which is another reason why this particular model is superior in the series 760 series.

Cons: You can't put "DOESNT RUN ARMA 3 ON ULTRA!!" for a card that isn't designed to handle it. :) You plug it in, install the drivers, and play games. What's not to like?

Unique and inspiring headset8/14/2014 9:18:03 PM

Pros: Much of what I like about this headset is being able to take full advantage of my fatal1ty titanium sound card. The headset performs admirably and I can successfully achieve audio immersion after only a short time of use (your ears have to get used to it). The alternate audio pass-through is a nice feature as well to retain versatility on your battle station; it's easy to switch between the two. Very comfy ear cups and head band, I forget I'm wearing it after I get immersed.

Cons: Switching to your pass-through disables the mic which is a bit annoying if you are trying to speak on a voip but want to listen through your speakers. There are ways around it but it involves too much fiddling with my setup. DO NOT BUY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GOOD QUALITY SOUND CARD, MY WORD OF WARNING. THIS HEADSET WOULD NOT A GOOD BUY FOR A SKIMPY CARD.

Overall Review: The speaker balance feature is not something I really use much but it works alright. I feel that it's a rather pointless feature and excluding it could probably cut down on costs a bit. Who needs to adjust the balance of their rear speaker inputs on the fly?? Maybe if your traveling and plugging into your buddy's 7.1 surround card?? lol

Awesome gamepads!4/26/2014 9:19:58 AM

Pros: Good connection 99% of the time, have used from 2-10 ft away with no problems. If you use more than one there is no interference between the two, they automatically deconflict their wireless channels (no switches). Has a directX and fully analogous modes which make it compatible with any game out there with a little know how (including emulators and any Xbox ports, most of the time without tweaking). Excellent controller construction and design.

Cons: For some poorly programmed games, even some modern ones, you will have to tweak the drivers a little to get the game to pick things up automatically. Of course, you can always flip it over to analog mode and use a utility like joy2key and program a profile for the game you want to play. I use these controllers for a variety of games I've only had to do this on two occasions. Of course, the level of work you have to put in depends on the games you are trying to setup but there is no limit on what you can do with the analog mode. Very rarely if I move the controller under my desk (controller in my lap), which is made of steel, I'll get a second of interruption but I believe this may be due to jitter caused by my desk's construction; the transceiver compensates quickly. I use it on my media server from across the room all the time with no issues.

Overall Review: I've been a long time Logitech customer and they never disappoint!

Awesome gamer interface gadget!11/19/2013 8:25:51 AM

Pros: I had been oogling one of these gameboards for a while, being a big logitech fan, and I am happy to confirm that it does not disappoint! Once you have programmed in the keys for your game you can drag and drop the commands from one key to another using the really simple logitech gaming software. You can label the commands like "A" = "Attack Ground" so when you drag the commands around you see the label "Attack Ground" and you can see the current gameboard mapping in real time. Also, once you have configured the key mappings you can save it as a profile and associate that profile with a particular executable and it will automatically switch to it when the executable is run. I can run all my games and have my own custom profile auto-load when the game starts. The LCD applications are also really cool; a lot of games have custom LCD info displays and I have also loaded up my favorite RSS feeds to scroll by while I'm not gaming. The real icing on the cake was when the same logitech software detected I had a G500 gaming mouse and made that available for the drag and drop commands as well so my mouse buttons are also included in the custom profile. Logitech has a real sweet gamepad here!

Cons: The only con I can come up with is the little analog thumb stick sits a little low for my taste. If it could be adjustable somehow that would be great but I am getting used to it and find it has its uses in different games, some more than others.

Overall Review: Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I would only recommend it to the hardcore computer gamers. I have over 150 different computer games over multiple genres so a device which allows me to have complete control over my controls is really appealing to me. If you only play a couple PC games casually then this is probably overkill for you. Also, make sure your desk is a decent size for both this pad and your keyboard! I take the ergonomic approach and leave my standard profile to the default left had keyboard layout and have my right hand on the normal keyboard position so I dont really have to switch back and forth unless I'm chatting in game.

Good monitor for the price11/18/2013 11:59:19 AM

Pros: 1920x1080 is still a good sweet spot if you aren't crazy about dropping $500 on a monitor to get the mega resolutions. I use this monitor for both office tasks and gaming and it is adequate for either (especially gaming). The monitor is very lightweight and easy to setup just about anywhere you have room for it. The frame is very low profile for such a large screen but it is still very sturdy. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this monitor.

Cons: My primary complaint with this monitor is that it uses an external AC converter. I understand that samsung wanted to keep the prifile slim, and they accomplished this very well, but it still means that I can't just pull out one of my standard three prong AC power cords if I ever loose track of the AC converter. Also, if anything happens to that AC converter I'll be looking for another one online... One last thing, I haven't played with it enough to say this is a conclusive con but it seems to me whenever I lean back in my office chair the screen will dim out, like when you lean too far to the side of the monitor. I don't know if I have the backlight too low or the contrast set wrong (I like to turn things down) but it seems that the virtical view angle is a bit more accute than some of my other monitors.

Overall Review: I bought this monitor on sale and it is still definately worth the money. Its utilitarian, economical, and could fit into any environment.

Compact and zero configuration!11/18/2013 11:46:56 AM

Pros: I owned the DOCISS 2.0 version of this modem for many years before finally upgrading to this model. The only difference is the increased maximum bandwidth and easier to read front panel display. All you have to do is connect the coax cable, plug it in, wait for all the lights to turn solid, then plug your router WAN ethernet port to the modem's ethernet port, and bam, you have internet. I hope this model will last me the 5+ years my previous one did. Can't go wrong with Cisco!

Cons: none at this time

Overall Review: If you do need to update the firmware there is a handy USB connector on the back but I would be supprised if you have to mess with it any time soon.

Sad to see this discontinued...12/5/2012 9:47:18 PM

Pros: I bought two of these drives 5 years ago and I still use them in my primary system today! These are by far the most superb drives on the market, extremely reliable!

Cons: I have noticed over the years that these drives can be sensitive to the cold. Don't leave your system in a cold vehicle and immediately boot it up!

Smoking!12/5/2012 9:40:02 PM

Pros: Awesome card! Windows 7 is blazing fast now! You can't beat having that extra layer of cache between your RAM and HDD.

Cons: I wouldn't recommend this card for beginner builders. The documentation is great but its definitely not a simple plug and play.

Overall Review: This is my first SSD and since my system is not equipped with SATA 3 it is ideal for me. Make sure you think carefully about the configuration of your user space and lingering windows HDD based services. I have all my user space and infrequent use files on my old HDD while only the OS and some demanding software is left on my SSD. The MKLINK /J command is your friend!! Also, keep in mind this card and other PCIE x4 cards will fit in a PCIE x16 slot and function just fine, this is the configuration I am using! (I should point out I am using PCIE 2.0 as well)

Stylish and efficient, but has some problems.11/30/2012 10:58:05 AM

Pros: The heat sink performs great and it looks really cool in the case.

Cons: After about a year the fan of the heat sink slowly started to die, the bearing went off kilter and the fan blades started to clip the inside edge of the copper sink fins making an awful noise... Eventually I got sick of it and bought a new 100mm fan and replaced it with some engineering skills. I couldn't throw that lovely copper sink away! The performance has dropped noticeably since I swapped fans but it's still in acceptable levels.

Awesome card!11/30/2012 10:53:49 AM

Pros: I can run all the latest games still on maximum graphics. These cards are cheap and give you great quality! Paired with the right mother board and processor it will last you many years.

Cons: BIG, make sure you have room! No small form factor!

Excellent sound and comfort!11/30/2012 10:50:48 AM

Pros: I sometimes have to pull the headphones away from my ears to really be sure that the sound isn't coming from my speakers! Excellent quality. I have noticed some reviewers complaining about it being a tight fit but the plush ear phones and fully adjustable head band fit me just fine. The removable microphone piece is very nice, it uses a standard 1/8" plug which could be swapped out for a different mic if desired.

Cons: Could use an adjustable length solution for the long cord but its not a big deal. More often it's better to have too long of a cord than too short!

Overall Review: Keep in mind that I am pairing my headset with a high quality Creative sound card so be sure you do the same! It doesn't matter how good the headset is if you have a low quality sound card or, heaven forbid, use the integrated sound...

Excellent performance for a good price!11/30/2012 10:44:56 AM

Pros: Excellent performance with great frame rates on even the brand new next generation 3d games today. Can't beat the price either. Paired with the right motherboard and processor this card has more than enough power to last many years.

Cons: It's a beefy card but it's understandable with the amount of punch it packs. Make sure you have enough room! I had to cut out a portion of my case to get it to fit right, but it is small form factor so full ATX cases should be good.

Good quality, good cooling.11/30/2012 10:39:53 AM

Pros: Does the job right, and you get more than enough for multiple applications.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Make sure you heat up that old thermal paste before removing it if you're replacing an old heat sink like I was!

Great little laptop mouse!7/20/2011 3:47:27 PM

Pros: Logitech has impressed me with this mouse. It is robust to dropping (first-hand knowledge), the cord gives you a decent amount of slack for a retractable, and the magnetic catch for the USB plug is genius! Not only will I never have to worry about the USB end not snapping in like on other mice I've owned, it even turns the mouse off so your not wasting batteries!

Cons: Only downer is that it is on the small side, I've got big man hands though... Hey, for a mobile mouse it is much more comfortable than most.

Overall Review: Good price, awesome features!
