Its good, but......
Pros: 2gb of memory... nice core clock... its just a monster in sli!
Cons: however..... evga overclocked this to 675 core clock. If you do not water cool, expect these to give you the dreaded "nvd error but has recovered" error in games. i had to underclock mine to 650 core clock in order to get it to run right. I might buy a water block to fix it...
Overall Review: aside from the extremely high temps, its a great card. EVGA maintains their great quality. However I wish Evga would use better TIM or pads. When i took the card apart to check the TIM/Pad ... it was rubbing off and it was a cruddy cheap one. i replaced it with a japanese made server pad i use for the office server racks and voila instant -6c.
A little hot. But amazing performance.
Pros: - fast for a 7200rpm drive. - its not as loud as people claim it to be. Rather quiet actually for a NAS drive.
Cons: - it runs hot - Im hitting temps up to 51c with fans turned down low in a corsair 540 case.
Overall Review: - Would totally recommend this product.
Great aesthetics, decent performance.
Pros: - It looks good - feels premium - aida64 and prime stable at 2800mhz 4.4ghz i7-6850k on an x99 phoenix motherboard by gigabyte.
Cons: - I am knocking two eggs off as it wouldnt run on xmp at 3000mhz on my x99 phoenix board from gigabyte. The best I could get it to was 2800mhz on a 15-17-17-35 timing on default. And even when I try to manual the 3000mhz I was unable to get all 32gb of ram to show up (only 16gb or 24gb would show up at 3ghz, or would simply completely crash on boot.
Overall Review: - Yes, I have checked the cpu, reseated the cpu and ram, etc... and I was unable to really rectify the situation.
Pros: - Fast and painless set up (if youre on windows 10) - This thing is just fast!
Cons: - Windows 7 doesnt recognize this drive and all sorts of problems pop up even when loading drivers.
Overall Review: - I would recommend this drive if you are building a windows 10 system from the get go, otherwise, go with a sata ssd first and migrate it later maybe.
a cooler that closely rivals the TRUE120
Pros: 3.8ghz OC on a 920 D0 chip 1.2125vcore This cooler brought temps to 38-40c idle and 65-68c load temps in a room about 24c ambient. not bad at all coinsidering my TRUE120 on same rig only has -1c on this cooler. (NOTE: I lapped both coolers but not the cpu.)
Cons: bigger than the TRUE120 (in terms of width). on some mobos (like my x59 classified), youl have to mod the fan retention clips somewhat to hold the fans.
Overall Review: its a great cooler and the fans are ultra quiet. noctua has done a great job in trying to tople the king of air cooling - Thermalrights TRUE120. But IFX-14 still remains king of air cooling.. too bad it doesnt fit in most mobos.. -_-;
