Pros: No real pros...

Cons: Card ultimately failed under fedora 22. Was looking for just a JBOD solution as my motherboard only had 6 total sata slots. I wasn't even looking for massive speed but I did want reliability. I also was only going to use software raid under linux via mdadm. So it did setup and run for about 2 days. After that the controller would random drop disks and eventually wouldn't even start under linux. It's a shame because it did work for a bit as expected but ultimately failed miserably.

Overall Review: I'm honestly not sure what controller to buy as most of the sub 100 SATA controllers use the same lame Marvell chipset. Not looking for hardware raid really, just JBOD.. who knew how hard this would be.
