Works fine with Windows 2000
Pros: Worked out of the box, following instruction and using drivers on CD (added Seagate 250 Gb SATA drive to an older box: Athlon 1700+, ABIT KR7A motherboard). Everything works fine even when no disk is connected to the card.
Cons: Reading speed behaves strangely: starts reading the file at ~7 Mb/sec, then the speed very gradually increases and after several Gb reaches ~50 Mb/sec. ATA disk on motherboard controller shows ~30 Mb/sec from the start.
Overall Review: The drivers on the CD appear to be more recent than on the Rosewill Web site. Windows picked the driver "si3114r5" from RAID5 folder on the CD. I did not try RAID, just attached one SATA drive.
