AMD FX-4100 - FX-Series Zambezi Quad-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD4100WMGUSBX
AMD FX-4100 - FX-Series Zambezi Quad-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD4100WMGUSBX

Pros: Amazingly fast and stable. Low power consumption.

Cons: Doesn't predict the future. Does not have a built in anti-gravity field.

Overall Review: Look there is almost nothing out there game wise that can utilize more than 4 cores. There is almost nothing out there that will max out a 3.6Ghz CPU so why in the world would you waste money and buy more than this? Wen it comes to gaming the top of the line Intel chip over clocked will only give you 3 more frames per second compared to this chip at stock speeds in a game and it costs 100 times more than this AMD chip. Be smart get this one.

Year end 2nd review.

Rosewill RLFL-11002 3W 220 Lumen Cree LED Aluminum Flashlight w/ Bicycle Bracket
Rosewill RLFL-11002 3W 220 Lumen Cree LED Aluminum Flashlight w/ Bicycle Bracket

Pros: Sturdy built. Rain resistant.

Cons: OK. Well I first gave this flashlight 5 stars when I had used it for only a few weeks. Now I see that I was wrong. I have used it for over a year now and the thing just gives me a headache. It works OK (sometimes) I spend more time hitting it to get it to light up than I do actually using it. I think the circuit board is loose inside or something. The lens is not thick enough so even tightened down all the way the lens still wobbles a little. So it is not submersible, if it falls in a puddle it just might survive. It performs after a few months exactly the same as the cheap gas station ones. However when it does decide to work it is way brighter than the gas station led lights.

Overall Review: Is is worth buying. I guess so but I'm not happy with the longevity of it. for twenty clams I expected it to last at least 2 years.

Sweet.

APEVIA CF12S-UBL Case Fan
APEVIA CF12S-UBL Case Fan

Pros: Deadly quiet! good air flow.

Cons: Cheap cheap cheap plastic. I'm afraid it's going to shatter into 100 pieces when I touch it.

Overall Review: For the price you can't go wrong. I would recommend this fan to anyone. Just be gentle with them or they will crack up.

It's good

Logitech G105 Call of Duty: MW3 Edition Keyboard
Logitech G105 Call of Duty: MW3 Edition Keyboard

Pros: Good lighted board, Nice textile feel.

Cons: Cheap plastic. Dumb game design.

Overall Review: I like the board. It does a good job. It's made from very cheap plastic and feels cheap but I think I can get a lot of use out of it and you can't beat the super low price.

Seems to be good.

KINGWIN ABT-1050MM 1050 W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS 12V v2.91 / SSI EPS 12V v2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply
KINGWIN ABT-1050MM 1050 W ATX 12V v2.2 / EPS 12V v2.91 / SSI EPS 12V v2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Stable power. Quiet operation. Good amount of connections.

Cons: Bad quality fan. Overheating.

Overall Review: This would be an excellent power supply if they had built it with a better fan. I know it runs nice and quiet but the problem with this thing is that it runs hot even under no load setting at desktop. So I can understand why so many people have complained that their power supplies are dieing after a few months is because they are overheating. I took some steps to prevent this. I bought extra fans for my computer case to help push more fresh air to the power supply. Hopefully that will help keep it from overheating. Overall I am happy with it though, I got the extended warranty for it just in case. For the price you can't got wrong.

Junk

BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: fast, good style, lot's of features.

Cons: I got this motherboard and didn't have time to mess with it for a week or two. I finally got to setting up everything and the ram was showing 1333 at super high cas speeds. I had to set the bios to manual and set the speeds to the proper 1866 and cas to 9 10 25 like it was supposed to do without overclocking. I restarted the computer and it would not post. I attempted to reset the CMOS by using the pin switch and it reset. It reset fine and posted. I reset to optimized defaults and then tried to set the ram to factory speed again. I restarted and it would not post again. I tried to reset the CMOS again and it wouldn't. Now it won't post and the BIOS is dead. I contacted BIOSTAR-USA and talked with tech support and they walked me through all the steps that I have already tried to coax life back into the board. One day before I started messing with it I sent the rebate in because I was running out of time to do it and now I have a dead mobo that I can't get a refund on. I did research online and found other users who went through several boards that had the same problem as me and ended up having to buy another board of anther brand. I feel like I got the shaft on this one because I can't afford to eat the cost of the board and buy another one. I know it's not neweggs fault that I am having problems but I don't like that I am stuck with it because I sent the rebate in. I would be willing to eat the $20 refund if I could just get the rest of my money back so I could buy another board. Simply if you are expecting to run 1866 ram on this board It will NOT work. And the BIOS is going to die if you try to do so.

Overall Review: This is the first time I have ever had such a serious problem with a product purchased at newegg. I have been building high end gaming computers for over 10 years and I suggest that you do not buy this mother board. It is not worth the aggravation. I hope someone out there at newegg or BIOSTAR has some kind of solution for me.
