Pros: Ok in all fairness it had 10K hours on it, I almost never turned the pc off, and I had pageFile on. (I have a 300gb Raptor with 15k Hours and still going.) Managed to get most of my data off the drive. Use command prompt and run it under Administrator on another pc. If you hit a bad part of the drive the led turns red and you just turn off the drive and start it again, avoiding the last place that was read on command prompt so you dont error out again. xcopy target destination /E works pretty well. It takes time to do but its your data so save what you can :)

Cons: Its Dying :(

Overall Review: Will rma it as soon as im sure I got as much off it as i could.

Pros: Does what its made to do. Good wire management system.

Cons: Died after 2 years of easy use. Its hard to understand how a PSU dies when you only pull at most 400 watts at the plug, and its rated at 750.

Overall Review: I have surge and UPS on all my systems. If i was drawing godly ammounts of power threw it i can see it, but ive been using it on an HTPC system for over a year now. And even when it was my gaming system, I never drew anywhere near enough power to cause this unit to fail after only 2 years.

Pros: Very fast.

Cons: When they die they have a nice feature that prevents you from accessing any of your data, if there is a file issue it just stops the drive completely, ive lost all of my pictures and data since it wont let me access them without freezing the drive. Great engineering.....

Pros: Good sound and mic. Fits well. Large.

Cons: Lasted about a year then the thing snapped in half because the spot where the mic goes actually weakens the design and they break.

Overall Review: Plastic has its limits. They should have used something else like metal.

Pros: Well I plan on buying a few of these when I have the money. Id like to inform the silly person with the first post that if he read the actual reviews he would know that the drive usually only slows down when the system is IDLE. I guess people just don't have Variable speed in there vocabulary yet. This is not the fastest drive on the market, but for the price its a good deal and its made to conserve energy when not needed.

Cons: They list it as a 1 year warranty on newegg site. You would think its a 3 or 5 year, may be a mistake on there part they do tend to happen.... Althou there is always someone quick to point it out and run around like the world will end.

Overall Review: From what I have experienced from Wester Digital drives in the past for the average user who has a power backup and doesn't hard reboot his/her system all the time, I see these drives outlasting any warranty.
