Amazing for streaming!
Pros: 8 cores 16 threads for $300 I was able to overclock my R7 1700 to 4.25GHz (360mm AIO Deep Cool liquid cooling) I stream on Twitch and have had no issues with streaming League of Legends, recording gameplay, playing music, and having multiple browser tabs open all at the same time. Overclock is across all cores, unlike some Intel chips where your highest overclock is only on 2 of the cores and the rest are on a lower clock. Only 65watt TDP
Cons: RAM issues... it is picky on what RAM speed it wants to use but this has improved with motherboard updates and as this new architecture matures. Looks for AMD verified RAM and Patriot Viper RAM works well.
Overall Review: Yes, Intel will give you higher FPS for gaming but it will cost you more money. If you want to great FPS, stream like a boss, or do any content creation get this CPU. Price for performance cannot be beat.
QC needs work.
Pros: Bright fans, and decent air flow for the price. (Do note these are static rainbow fans and can not be changed.)
Cons: -Case came damage but box was in near perfect condition, which leads me to believe it was damage pre-shipping. Left rear footer was bent in from closer from the center of the case. -Other issue I ran into was poor machining of screws. You have to take out the HDD tray as no sleds were present and screw in the HDD directly into the HDD tray. Normally this is not a problem, however the screws that hold the tray in place had stripped threads so it would not come out. If you run into this issue take the mesh front panel off and you can screw the HDD in if you have a long screwdriver. -Thread stripped motherboard standoffs -Lack of cable routing. (I strongly recommend if you get this case to use a fully modular PSU
Overall Review: I was more of a headache to build in this case than I thought it would be. If you get it on sale it's not bad since it comes with 4 fans for budget builds which this one was. Fans are pretty but be prepared for stubborn screws and standoffs. Extension suggested for the 24pin if you intend to feed the cable as the manufacture wants you to.
It's meh RAM
Pros: Very colorful
Cons: Not stable at 3600. PC would light up but nothing would display. Had to clear the CMOS and go back into the bios and drop it all the way down to 3200 for it to be stable. Yes the motherboard can handle 3600 speed, yes I know what I am doing. First time buying this brand and the last time buying this brand.
Overall Review: Sad part is I built the PC for a teen that has cancer of the brain and spine. He had a limited budget and I tossed in some spare parts of mine to allow him to have more to spend CPU and GPU should have budgeted for better RAM.
Best case I have ever owned.
Pros: -Large case easy to build in (bigger than my previous Genome Gen1) -Cable management is stupid easy and looks super clean! -Switching from sound dampening panels to air flow panels only takes a couple of seconds. -Large 140mm fans are silent and push a lot of air. Comes with 3 and has room for at least 4 more 140mm fans -Fan control hub in the back means no ugly fan cables going to the motherboard. -No messing with screws for side panels it's push button release! -Allows for inverted builds and vertical GPU mount.
Cons: -So precisely made that if your other components are not it could cause problems. So my 1000w EVGA PSU has an extra logo on the fan cage. I was able to slide it into the case just fine but I needed to pull it out to add another cable to it (it's modular) and well I can't get it out because the metal logo is catching on the lip of the cases PSU housing framework. However because this case can be taken completely apart and rearranged I will be able to get it out it's just going to take a bit of time.
Overall Review: This is the best case I have ever had. I don't think I will ever go with another brand ever again. Even with the air flow panels on it's more quiet than any case I own (note this is cases number 6 for my home.) I will slowly transferring all 4 of the other PCs in my home to be quiet cases. Totally worth the price. This case is truly an engineering work of art!
Hands down easiest case I have ever built in
Pros: ~Tons of room to work with. ~Seemingly endless slots for storage drives, and removable slots to fit large GPU ~Best and quickest side panel removal ever. Undo the two latches at the top and lift, no screws to mess with. ~ It's Army ammo can green ~Supports up to 7 case fans.
Cons: ~Doesn't support 360mm radiator despite all the room you have to work with.
Overall Review: Building your first PC in this case with be a breeze will all the room it offers. Have a cat that likes to restart your PC by rubbing against the reset button? Not with this case. Reset button has protective cover you must lift before it can be pressed.
Worked perfect
Pros: Nice design, easy snug install, not much talk about. Has good heat displacement.
Cons: None that I have noticed. UPDATE: Still none! Working like a charm a year later!
Overall Review: Its RAM not much to write about it. Cheap price and performs as described. UPDATE: Had this in an Intel build at first but then move to Ryzen platform. This RAM works well with Ryzen. I would trust this brand again but with faster RAM speeds for the Ryzen chips.
