Most Favorable Review

Works ok except for one issue.

StarTech.com ESATAPLATE2 1 ft. 2 Port SATA to eSATA Slot Plate Bracket
StarTech.com ESATAPLATE2 1 ft. 2 Port SATA to eSATA Slot Plate Bracket

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do.

Cons: Sata cables are too short.

Overall Review: I purchased this for a Gaming Desktop which has no options for mounting a Optical Drive inside of it. I have a Optical Drive Enclosure that has ESATA Ports on it and this item completes the connection to my PC. However the SATA Ports inside my PC were too far away and the cables from this item and would not reach it, so I had no choice but to order 2 SATA Cable Extender Cables to complete the connection.

Buyer beware.

HP Grade A Compaq Pro 6300 Tower, Intel Core i5-3470 3.20 GHz (up to 3.60 GHz), 16 GB DDR3, 2 TB HDD, DVDRW, Intel HD Graphics 2500, Windows 10 Pro (English / Spanish), 1 Year Warranty

Pros: Good specs.

Cons: After researching this PC on the HP Website, I discovered that this PC does not have any HP Windows 10 support. It was a Windows 7 PC that was upgraded to Windows 10 by the Company that refurbished it. The HP Website says that if you upgrade a PC to Windows 10 that does not have HP Windows 10 support, certain features or Drivers may not function properly. Microsoft upgrades Windows 10 twice a year and sometimes there will be changes made that can cause issues with certain Manufactures PC'S not to function properly. If the PC has Windows 10 support from the Manufacturer, they will issue a fix for that. Many Drivers, for example are Manufacturer specific, so you can only get the Driver from them, not Microsoft. The HP Website has a list of all their PC's that have Windows 10 support and this PC was not on the list. In fact HP says that any PC manufactured before August,2013 does not have Windows 10 support. This PC was manufactured in May, 2013. In other words, if you buy this PC, you are taking your chances. Even it works ok now, at sometime in the future after a Microsoft upgrade,it may not.

Overall Review: Had I known this before I purchased this Computer, I would have never purchased it.

It does what I expecteded it to do.

Overall Review: See the attached Screenshots for Sequential Read/Write Speeds when connected to a USB Gen 2 x 2, Gen 2, and Gen 1 Port. What you see is what you get.

What I expected is what I got.

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18D-64GTZN
G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C18D-64GTZN

Pros: Plug and Play.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I purchased this RAM for use in a ASUS X570 Tuff Gaming Plus Motherboard running a Ryzen 9 5900x. I confirmed that this RAM was correct on the GSkill Memory Finder and also with the ASUS QVL List. Installed RAM, turned on D.O.C.P. in Bios and restarted my PC. Turned on the Task Manager and Memory shows 64GB running at 3600MHZ. This is what I expected and I was not disappointed by the Results.

Good Computer with one major flaw.

ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Ryzen 5 5600X - GeForce RTX 3070 - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD

Pros: Good Specs and value.

Cons: Incompatabile RAM.

Overall Review: First of all, let me say that I have 42 Years experience working in Aviation Electronics, so I think I know what I am doing. When I first turned on this PC, everything appeared to be ok. Then I proceeded to update Windows 10. My next step was to update the Bios to the latest Version. Finally, I updated all Drivers,Utilities, etc. to the latest. I then run a Health and Diagnostics Check in the Performance Monitor. I then went into Bias and turned on D.O.C.P. That is what will change the supported frequency of 2666MHZ to 3000MHZ. That is when the BSOD Crashes started. There is free Software called "Who Crashed" that will tell you what happened and what to do. It said there was RAM failure. The RAM installed was a Brand of OLOY which I never heard of before. I then went to the ASUS Memory List and found out this Brand was not listed at all. RAM for Ryzen is very Picky and GSkill Trident Z is regarded as the best choice. I then ordered 2 Sticks of GSkill Trident Z 3200 MHZ on another Seller(sorry Newegg, but I needed that fast) and installed it. That did it! Everything is rock steady. Also , the Intel M.2 SSD came with a Microsoft Driver installed and you should install the Intel Driver and Application Software called the Intel Memory and Storage Tool. The proof is in the Pudding, see the attached Screenshot of UserBenchmark. You can take my advice or leave it, I really don't care, but for those who want it, here it is.

Card delivers respectable performance at a reasonable price.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card GV-N1060G1 GAMING-3GD 2.0
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card GV-N1060G1 GAMING-3GD 2.0

Pros: After installation,I ran my Computer on UserBenchmark and it showed the Card as having above average performance.

Cons: The Software that came with this Card is dysfunctional and worthless.

Overall Review: After I installed the Software that came with this Card I began to detect problems. The event viewer on my PC showed that every time I booted the PC,the LED Lighting was not starting. Also when I tried install the user manual, nothing happened. I then discovered that the manual software had corrupted my Adobe Reader. I had to uninstall my Adobe Reader and reinstall it again and everything worked ok again. Finally, when I restarted my PC, it crashed with a BSOD. Everything had worked fine with this Card until I installed the Software. I uninstalled this worthless Software and installed MSI Afterburner and it works like a charm.
