Overall Review: I purchased (3) of these to rehab some laptops I picked at an estate sale (previous drives were removed). I've installed 2 so far, everything is good to go. They're idling at 29C-31C, will monitor temps to see if heatsinks are warranted.

Pros: Decent malware protection

Cons: Not Premium Edition, only Standard - we got lied to Had to remove from Wife's computer, it just about shut down Chrome. I didn't have any issues on my computer running Firefox

Overall Review: Would not recommend, I'll just write off that $16 as a learning experience.

Pros: I tried a LG-branded OLED monitor, it was OK but the colors always seemed a little washed out. Sent it back then purchased this one and now I'm a happy camper. Anything else I could type would just be a repeat of all the other happy folks' comments. Well done, MSI!

Cons: Not a con to me, but no built in speakers...but it does have an audio out port for your external (and probably much better) speakers.

Pros: Attractive board, not gaudy, no RGB shenanigans, great possibilities 5G Lan port, runs 2.5 effortlessly Ports/connections clearly marked Extra 8-pin PCIe power socket located on lower motherboard 45-60 second memory learning, better than some BIOS update easy

Cons: M.2 Shield Frozr barely made contact with the SSD controller, did not touch memory chips - resulting in high SSD temps (PCIe 4.0) - had to install my own heatsink Motherboard received has layout different from pictures displayed on Newegg - fan ports are located completely different, had to make minor adjustments from planned wiring

Overall Review: Experimenting with different CPUs and DRAM sizes/configurations, all mods have proceeded effortlessly. Got it on sale, no intentions of sending it back.

Pros: Faster than advertised, around 7400 read speed and 6800 write speed - forgot to save the image SK hynix has a nice little manager program for maintenance, firmware, etc - make sure to upgrade firmware!

Cons: Runs a little hot, heatsink highly suggested

Overall Review: After installing the drive on my motherboard (MSI Pro B850-P) using the MSI provided heatsink the drive would idle around 54-56 C. Not terribly bad, but my other 2 drives (Solidigm) were 35-38 C. I removed the heatsink to check if it was properly installed and saw that only the controller was barely touching the thermal pad (the drive definitely has a low profile). I replaced it with one of my own heatsinks to insure that the dram chips were also covered, idle temps dropped to 43-45 C. It's not a fault of the drive, just putting a little FYI out there. Good, fast drive. From bios flash screen to windows the boot time is 4.5 to 5 seconds. Previous boot drive was around 7 second boot time. Love it!

Pros: Price, name brand, worked great right out of package
