GREAT CARD!, but requires added power extension cord
Comments: This card runs great, even on my 2 yr. old Compaq Presario with 250W power supply, AMD Anlon XP 2600 chip, and only a 4X AGP slot. I am not a computer whiz, so it took me a while to see the 4 prong power port on the end of the board, indicating it needed to be plugged into the power supply, in addition to being plugged into the motherboard. I had to go out to RadioShack and buy an extension power cable (part 278-767B) to reach the back of the board. (The manufacturer should supply this, or at least tell you that one is needed , with a schematic as to where to plug it in). ANYWAY, Once I did that, it makes my son's games fly. He is very happy with this board AND the additional 512MB of CORSAIR RAM I bought from NEWEGG for $40 at the same time. It makes this old clunker I bought at Wxxxxrt new again! As my son said..."AWESOME!"
