Cons: Western Digital must really have some poor quality control now. What happened Western Digital? You used to be one of the top two. This drive came defective, The ROM was corrupt and the drive would not function. Luckily I have a friend that has the knowledge and the tools to repair/rewrite the ROM and then the drive worked flawlessly. Saving me an RMA and making my customer happy she didn't have to wait even longer Sad thing is, this is the second WD Blue drive I have purchased with the same issue. Really Western Digital? Get with the program!

Cons: This is the second Western Digital Blue internal hard drive I have purchased in two months. Both Drives have something wrong with the bios on the drive. I had a friend that has the software rebuild the first ones bios and it worked flawlessly afterwards. I can only hope he can do the same with this one. This is really rediculous!!

Overall Review: This is not the fault of Newegg. They have always been great. Super fast shipping. great prices. These harddrive manufacturers have very poor quality control anymore. Remember back in the days when you could actually depend on a WD or Seagate drive to be the best in the market place? What happened to those companies?
