Pros: Updated with faceplates, low cost. Reads xD media, even though it does not say so on the box. Works perfect with XP.
Cons: All drives show up in Windows Explorer, whether there is a card or not.
AWFUL!!
Pros: Seems to offer good protection to keep you from getting viruses.
Cons: THIS PROGRAM WILL NOT REMOVE A VIRUS THAT IS ON YOUR COMPUTER. NORTON SUPPORT CHARGES TO REMOVE VIRUSES THAT THEIR PROGRAM CANNOT, EVEN THOUGH SUPPORT IS "FREE"
Overall Review: Norton is continually rated the best by security software reviewers, so I used recommend it to my customers, until yesterday. After installing Norton on a computer with the well-known "Cyber Security" scareware virus, Norton did nothing. Updates, scans, and Norton never found it. I even scanned the virus's executable "cs.exe" and Norton claimed it was safe. I spend hours talking to tech support who told me that I had to remove the virus before installing Norton. They wanted to charge me $100 to remove the virus, even though the Norton box says that support is included. This is a complete ripoff. The only thing that I can say good about the product is that it seems to be decent at keeping new viruses from installing. (it does an excellent job keeping me from using any other product to remove the virus!)
Works, until they break
Pros: The headset looks sleek, is comfortable, feels sturdy, and sounds good. Reasonably easy to pair with any phone or computer for stereo Bluetooth audio.
Cons: I received these used from a friend, and they were in excellent condition and not many months old. Within about 4 months of near-daily use, the right earpiece snapped off. It snapped in such a way that they are still usable, but it is definitely a problem. For the record, this is not a result of rough use. IM tech support from Motorola refused to replace them though they are in warranty.
Overall Review: I use these with Windows 7 x32 & x64 with an ASUS USB-BT21 Bluetooth adapter and the latest WIDCOMM software. For the low price and for how much I enjoy using them, I'm thinking of replacing them myself if Motorola does not honor their warranty.
Excelent product
Pros: Compact. Has a good feature set. Though not stunning, it does look sharp.
Cons: The plastic tabs on the front cover are somewhat fragile. (a friend accidentally snapped one off) Getting the hard drive in is not the most enlightened process, but it works fine.
Overall Review: I've been running Ubuntu server on this and I'm really happy with it.
Nice
Pros: Nice board. Haven't explored to many settings, but it does what I need.
Cons: Has a 24-pin power connector AND an 8-pin power connector. You can call me ignorant, but this took me by surprise. I'd never seen an 8-pin connector before, only the 4-pin ones. Just be sure you know before you buy.
Overall Review: I've used several Gigabyte boards and never had a problem with the quality. When I've needed technical support I've had a good experience.
Nice budget case
Pros: Looks nice and is easy to install parts in. Not to much more can be said for a case. Has tool-less expansion card & drive installation.
Cons: None, generally. The tool-less design can be kinda hard to figure out, and the last time I installed an expansion card it wobbled slightly. The silver plastic on the front doesn't look top-notch but is certainly OK for use.
Overall Review: I've used this case for at least 4 different builds for customers and plan to continue using it. For my personal computer, I tend to like other more advanced or designer-y cases, but this one is great if you are on a budget or want something unassuming.
