Most Favorable Review

Great for price but prepare to buy upgrade parts when ordering.

ASUS VivoBook Intel Core i5-8250U, 4 GB DDR4 + 16 GB Intel Optane, 1 TB Optane Enhanced, MX150 Graphics, 15.6" NanoEdge Full HD, FP, S510UN-DB55 Thin and Portable Laptop,
ASUS VivoBook Intel Core i5-8250U, 4 GB DDR4 + 16 GB Intel Optane, 1 TB Optane Enhanced, MX150 Graphics, 15.6" NanoEdge Full HD, FP, S510UN-DB55 Thin and Portable Laptop,

Pros: Light weight, MX150 is perfect for mid range gaming. Averaging 6-7 hour battery life when traveling and web browsing. One of the best trackpads for sub 600 dollar PC. Have played a variety of mid level and indie games without issue. Single fan exhaust to back of laptop.

Cons: -Wish they simply included 8 gb of DDR4 ram as standard. -Temperature not to my liking causing fan to spool up under low load. -Opening the backpanel is a little hassle as they have 2 hidden screws and many plastic clips that you need to carefully pry open.

Overall Review: As title described, be ready to buy some upgrade parts. For me, 1 stick of Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT8G4SFD824A for 50 dollars was immediate with intention to by a second stick in future. PC only has 1 copper heat pipe run between the MX150 and CPU. I re-applied the thermal paste with thermal grizzly kryonaught. This dropped temps 6-7C on idle and about 9C on full 100% load. This added significant battery life as the cpu/gpu fan barely runs on web browsing or using microsoft office. I decided to keep the optane and 1 TB which seems to do a pretty great job after opening your software and few times. Boot times are similar to SSD with optane memory in use. My laptop also needed to connect to wired connections for some work applications so a usb to RJ45 adapter was also necessary.

Most Critical Review

if you recieve alot of digital channels your good

KWORLD ATSC 340U Dongle ATSC TV USB Stick ATSC 340U USB 2.0 Interface
KWORLD ATSC 340U Dongle ATSC TV USB Stick ATSC 340U USB 2.0 Interface

Pros: Device itself worked well. Software was very easy to use.

Cons: As stated antenna is not good but I used my own and picked up all the digital stations. Prob I had was it all digital stations were blocked when I ran through COX network. Doesn't pick up analog stations as stated as its only for digital Only got 5 of the 25 digital stations available.

Overall Review: Device is good base on location. If you recieve alot of digital channels then your good. If not look elsewhere. I had to RMA mine. Really just looking for a usb tuner to use in my dorm and this one isn't working with cable provider.

Great Chip for a Great Price

Intel Core i5-4590 - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I54590
Intel Core i5-4590 - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I54590

Pros: Decided to make the switch from AMD after years of extreme cpu budget making. Got chip on a deal from newegg. Runs cool. Have a Nepton 120xl with only 1 fan mounted. Idles at 25C and maxes at 44C on prime95 for 12 hours.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Have not tried the integrated graphics but its a plus that its there.

Great Card/ Horrible MIR

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ZT-40408-10P
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ZT-40408-10P

Pros: Card is great. Oced up to 840 core clock. Runs well and does exactly as I wanted. Max Temp is 62C in my rig.

Cons: Nothing so far wrong with card.

Overall Review: Like always, Mail in rebates are a flip of a coin. I mailed off the UPC cut out with my name, model number and words online(had to read fine print on zotac site on this) on the 24th of June. It has been close to a month. My zotac account still shows pending and I'm a highly doubtful the MIR will ever be made. I expected this.. Just a FYI for everyone to remember MIR can be a joke. I'm not upset. I knew this could be a issue going in.

Great potential and speed

EVGA FPB (Free Performance Boost) GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 768-P3-1360-TR
EVGA FPB (Free Performance Boost) GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 768-P3-1360-TR

Pros: Bout this card a month ago for 169.99 (no rebate) with free shipping. Performance is great. Card stays amazing cool. At default graphics settings I idle at 27C and max at 42C. Nvidia states this card can go up to 102C without harm. That is just amazing potential for this card. I personally cannot hear the fan in 2d graphics mode and with default setup could barely hear it in my games. Big thing about 460's is overclocking and this does it easily with EVGA precision. I easily put it to the 460 768mb super clock edition settings of 763 core clock, 1526 shader clock, and 1808 memory clock and now idle at 30C and max at 51C with the fanspeed set to 60% and custom profile up to 80%. Great card and price to performance in the this market area can't be beat even with new competition out.

Cons: No cons for me. Does exactly what I hoped for and more

Good cheap case

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, Blue LED Fan, Black Steel & Plastic - BLACKBONE

Pros: I bought this because it was 30 dollars at the time. Its a nice case. Fairly simple and gets the job done. Duel side panels and ability to hide cables are a nice touch for a sub 50 dollar case. Very lightweight, tool-less design works and front led fan is a nice cheap after affect for those wanting a little eye candy.

Cons: Don't expect any air movement from the default fans. As you may expect, the front fan is merely eye candy. It does not move any air. The same goes for the back fan. Both run at a meager 800 rpms. For sake of argument, I put a piece for paper on the front of my case and the front fan was not able to hold it at all. I placed the same thin sheet on the back and could not see any determinable movement from the paper. It kinda comes with the territory for a case this cheap. I put in a Coolermaster R4-L2R-20CG-GP 120mm fan for the back and it made a big difference. This case is a bit small on width though will fit most cpu heatsinks if just barely. you will really need good airflow in your case. Be sure to read on widths of possible heatsinks to not have conflict in size.

Overall Review: I'm on a: AMD Phenom IIx4 3.2 ghz 955 Gigabyte ud3 motherboard 2x2 gigs Gskill ddr3 1333 ram EVGA gtx 460 768mb Antec Kuhor Heatsink Western Digital 7200 rpm 32mb 500 gb hd Before putting in the new back fan, my computer temps were 33C for the cpu, 29C for gpu (60% fan speed), hd at 31C and main case temp of 33C. If I ran prime 95, my cpu temps would slowly rise up to 58C. I was alarmed so took side of case off and ran again. CPU temp went to 47C and stayed even after running prime 95 for 5 hrs. After concluding airflow was a issue and putting in the coolermaster 120mm fan, I ran prime95 again. Max temp of CPU sat at 49C after 5 hrs. This is all with a room temp of 78F. I hope this helps anyone in their decision on this case or possible heat problems afterward. Your getting what you pay for so don't be surprised if things are not perfect.
