NETGEAR WNDA3100-100NAR IEEE 802.11a/b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft USB 2.0 RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Adapter Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK), Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) 64-bit, 128-bit.

Pros: connects to router on both bands in both vista and XP. better range then integrated dell cheap

Cons: doesn't support AES encryption for WPA with integrated utilities(uses TKIP). You can still connect with AES encryption using xp wifi utility.

Overall Review: connected to linksys WRT610N. After figuring out i had to switch to TKIP encryption from AES on my router it connected with no issues. For this price can't beat it.

Bait and switch

XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card
XFX GX260NADFF GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: wouldn't know haven't gotten the proper card yet

Cons: I ordered the GX-260N-ADDF from newegg and received it promptly. When it arrived it was well packaged but the fan was broken(other reviewers have had this issue as well). I sent it back to xfx the following morning for and RMA. It took 2.5 weeks for the new card to get here. When the new card arrived it had order code GX-260N-ADDU which is a 65nm 192 core GTX 260. Since RMA's come with just the card and no box, I don't know if it was a mistake or if they thought I wouldn't notice. I have contacted customer support again and am waiting for a reponse. It is excusable to get a 65 nm card when expecting a 55nm card especially since that is not one the features they advertise about the card. But to receive a core 192 instead of a core 216 when it says 216 stream processors on the box is unscrupulous.

Overall Review: I guess I should have RMA'd through newegg. Would have gotten the correct card at least. The reason I didn't was because it wasn't really newegg's fault(packaging was good). Unless xfx's response is to rush ship the proper card and pay for shipping back of the wrong one, I'll be going back to EVGA

Just what I needed

Acer Aspire 11.6" AMD Turion II Neo K625 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit LX.SBB02.074
Acer Aspire 11.6" AMD Turion II Neo K625 4GB Memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit LX.SBB02.074

Pros: quite a bit of power for its size. Both graphics and CPU have ample power to make general use not feel sluggish 4 GB ram is enough even though it shares it with GPU light weight fan makes very little noise not a lot of heat boots from cold start quite quickly

Cons: screen while not terrible is not very good either(standard fare for this price range) touchpad is a little small speakers are quiet battery life could be better. I get 2-3 hours with active use

Overall Review: I installed an SSD as soon as I got it and installed Ubuntu netbook remix 10.4. Installed fine and wireless worked right away. I wasn't able to wake from sleep or use front panel audio so I went back to Win 7 which works fine.

would buy again

AMCOR AL10000E 10,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner
AMCOR AL10000E 10,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner

Pros: have a slightly different model but it works well enough in a small room.

Cons: while it is portable, its a lot to move around if you have to do so often.

Overall Review: the compressor in my unit broke after 11 months. I went to amcor's website and found contact information. I called and was immediately transferred to a human who sent me the form for an exchange. I sent in the form and less then a week later I received my replacement. I didn't have to pay for shipping or anything.

2 years going strong

PC Power and Cooling S75CF 750 W EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
PC Power and Cooling S75CF 750 W EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I bought this unit as apart of my first pc build over 2 years ago. I have since upgraded or replaced every component of the PC except the power supply which is still going strong. I have recommended their power supplies to multiple friends and will continue to do so.

Cons: none

Overall Review: No matter how fancy the rest of your components are they won't do squat without a power supply. Spend the money and buy a quality one like this.

no drops

Linksys WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab, 802.11a/b/g, Draft 802.11n
Linksys WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab, 802.11a/b/g, Draft 802.11n

Pros: Lots of features. very fast. no dropped connections(I immediately updated to latest firmware)

Cons: setup CD didn't work but if your buying this router your probably techie enough to set the router up manually through a web browser(192.168.1.1)

Overall Review: can't speak to wireless range as I live in a very small apartment(2 walls in any direction and you are outside)
