NEC chipset didn't work for me8/1/2007 2:52:45 PM

Pros: Windows found drivers right away. Card seemed to work fine.

Cons: I contacted customer support to find out what the chipset was in advance of my purchase but did not receive a reply after 4 days. After installing, I discovered that the card uses the NEC chipset.

Overall Review: The NEC chipset was incompatible with my audio interface, a Presonus Firestudio. Had to RMA the card. Iogear uses TI, which is what I just ordered.

Great with my dive computer9/20/2006 4:12:43 PM

Pros: Windows XP native driver worked flawlessly. Alows for choice of any Com port.

Cons: None for me.

Overall Review: I bought this unit to interface with my Suunto Vyper dive computer. It worked flawlessly in minutes using the driver installed by XP. It doesn't get any easier than this.

Best case I've owned yet6/18/2002 3:05:23 PM

Comments: Sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. This has got to be the best going deal on a case today. This thing has mass. I ordered two new computers the same week, an Athlon that I built myself and a pre-built from Dell. The cases that Dell are using these days are not to my liking. The Dell case broke just taking the computer out of the shipping box. I am ordering another Chieftec to put my Dell into before it turns into dust.... Two minor complaints about the Chieftec though, the front door is a bit of a pain if you need to access your drives or power button often and the computer doesn't look as cool without it. Also, I got mine with the included Chieftec power supply. Despite the >400 watt rating, it looked a little whimpy to me compared to my Enermax.
