1 Gb/s Unleashed9/21/2011 9:12:25 AM

Pros: 16 x RJ45 10/100/1000 ports. Rackmountable with included bracket. The power cord is a 90 degree left standard computer power cord.

Cons: None

Overall Review: It does what it is suppose to due, just wish Cisco made a smaller server rack mountable switch.

Pure Power9/21/2011 8:50:22 AM

Pros: Rackmountable, 8x 15amp battery backup outlets that are broken into two groups of four with individual circut breakers for both groups. The LCD panel is a VERY nice touch allowing you to scroll through your output wattage, input/output voltage and Hz, it also gives you a % of what your total power draw through the unit is out of the 1125w availible, tells you your battery charge % and an estimated runtime based on the current power draw, The LCD has a blackout timmer if not used (30sec aprox) usefull when you dont want that bright blue screen on. heavy duty construction and good doubble box packaging.

Cons: Weights 60lbs The side rack monts are confusing to use. The front cover is made of plastic for some reason???

Overall Review: Shipping cost, although it was nice to see the delivery guy used a dolly to bring it up to the door and then offered to roll it to my computer lab if i wanted. It requires a common 15amp 120v outlet, the unit is a tade more then 300w below the 80% constant wattage usage "electrical code" for a 15amp circut. I highly recommend this unit, it well worth the money for any one who has massive power consumption needs.

Very well built9/21/2011 8:38:53 AM

Pros: Allows you to use Four 2.5" SSD's or HDD's at once in a safe reliable enclosure while having two small cooling fans that actually cool without added noise. Comes with a Keyed lock out to keep your drives safe and secure.

Cons: The removable tray seemed a little cheap but have had no issues with them at all.

Overall Review: I highly recomend this product to anyone who uses multiple 2.5" Drives. EVGA four member

AWSOME SPEEDS9/21/2011 8:32:30 AM

Pros: eXtremely fast with no load time or pauses when opening saved content. PCI-e x4 interface that aslos works with PCI-e x8 & x16. Tested out at right where the manufactor rated speeds were. Verry reliable, and allows you to bypass most all interfaces straight to the CPU, unlike with SATA based devices

Cons: No cool EMI external shielding like you get with some other high end PCI-e devices.

Overall Review: Expensive, yes.... Worth every penny when multi tasking, **** YES!!! EVGA fourm member

Started good, but having problems9/21/2011 8:24:32 AM

Pros: the only way to get a long USB extension

Cons: After about 7 months of regular use the computer stops recongizing all devices pluged into this cable, requireing a re-start, then its fine.

Overall Review: Hoping that this issue does not get worse in time. EVGA fourm member

Manufacturer Response:
First, thank you for choosing IOGEAR and we apologize for your experience. The product should not behave as you described. Try connecting the GUE2118 to a different USB port and see if you still have the same problem. Since the unit is backed by IOGEAR's 3 year warranty feel free to contact our customer support at 1-866-946-4327 or email us: support@iogear.com. Again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
Best 4U server rack mount case for the money9/21/2011 8:21:17 AM

Pros: Its has a very solid metal construction and supurbe air flow when you add two 120mm fans to the front of the case as air intakes, while the 5x 80mm fans keep the air moving across the entire motherboard tray, NO DEAD SPACES!

Cons: The case lip depressions that yopu have to use to get the lid off are junk, so I removed them, problem solved and my only complaint.

Overall Review: I am running a Dual SLi configuration in this case with an i7 920 CPU, and yes, you can find aftermarket CPU coolers that will fit. EVGA fourm member

Perfect for Dual SSD's9/21/2011 8:15:15 AM

Pros: Bought several of these for client builds that wanted two SSD's in RAID configurations and have had ZERO issues with them. The removable try has a small toggle lock to keep you from accidently dis-mounting the drives while in use.

Cons: NONE EVGA fourm member

Perfect for Multiple small devices9/21/2011 8:11:50 AM

Pros: Works great for expanding a single outlet for multiple small power draw devices, like AC to DC power packs.

Cons: its only 16awg so dont expect this device to hold out with large power hungry equipment like large PSU's and printers.

Overall Review: Bought two of this and could not be more happy. EVGA four member

Great Access Point9/21/2011 8:03:09 AM

Pros: 5Ghz 802.11 N Decent range and object penetration (walls and other obstructions. 1Gb/s interface RJ-45 port The ability to add better dipole antenna's to it. Can set up multiple Wi-Fi signals at different security level and wireless bands.

Cons: Some what tricky to setup, better have two NIC's in your computer as this device is loged into via IP address.

Overall Review: Set-up could be more user friendly. EVGA fourm member

Not Bad9/21/2011 7:54:40 AM

Pros: Bluetooth adapter included 3 to 4 hour battery life. Volume is good and it is easy for others to hear you lound and clear.

Cons: Works with Teamspeak 3, however if you start up TS-3 without first connecting your decice you have to disconect the bluetooth adapter and try again.

Overall Review: When I first received this little guy it was very frustrating untill I figured out its liitle issues when connecting it. EVGA fourm member

Very Robust Catogory Cable9/21/2011 7:49:29 AM

Pros: S/STP Shielding and Metal shieled connector ends, You can actually run this cable near power cords without the fear of EMI interference. Availible in segments from 1' to 100' Availible in serveral colors for easy organizing Its fully compatible with all other CAT cable equipment that uses an RJ-45 connector.

Cons: This cable is still very new and it's like pulling teeth to find CAT 7 shielded connector ends both male and female, so only buy CAT 7 in pre-made segments, dont make your own.

Overall Review: And to be honest the "cat 7" cable is only a CAT 6 grade with extra shielding, the "cat 7" was developed for factory's and installation around machinery hence the shielding to protect data loss. EVGA Forum member

Pros: 10/100/1000 Base-T Gigabit Port DOCSIS 1.1, 2.0 & 3.0 Indicator LED lights that actually do something.

Cons: Speeding an hour on the phone with your cable provider telling them what your trying to have done.

Overall Review: The device works eXtremely well..... it actually increased my download speed from 22Mb/s to 43Mb/s, this was time and money well spent. EVGA Member

Very Nice7/17/2011 4:46:10 PM

Pros: EVGA - Enough said.... For the money it cools better than anything else I have ever used at its price range. Cools very well on my i7 920 with an overclock of 3.6Ghz @ 15-20c above my room temp.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I won this cooler during EVGA's product launch event, so I paid $0.00 for it. EVGA fourm member.

Cons: NONE

For the Cost you cant beat it12/1/2010 11:21:29 PM

Pros: allows you to acess up to 10 hard drives(5 per eSATA port) when used in colaberation with other SiL equipment that support port multipling. Small and compact Easy to set up allows for a variety of differnt RAID arrays including partioning multiple RAID arrays off the same set of drives.

Cons: Some times you have to reboot your computer in the BIOS splash screen if the device isnt reconized the first time by the computer(usually does this when I do a cold start up) Only works with eSATA cables that are less then 6ft in length.

Overall Review: iStarUSA's tech support is remedial, I had issues at first and contacted them and got no where, later on I went to Sil.s site and read there product guid for the 3132 and come to find out my firewall program was blocking a port the Sil3132 chip needed in order to function.

Worth EVERY PENNY11/20/2010 7:11:35 PM

Pros: eSATA port Multiplier Holds 10 Hard Drives of ANY capacity or brand name Runs fairly quite when the drives are idle thanks to temperature controlled fans(1x120mm main exhaust, 2x80mm drive bay ventilation) Drive trays are simple and easy to remove while still staying locked in place when in use. Solid case frame Main power on/off switch on the PSU and another main off/on switch on the front panel.

Cons: No side mountable supporting bars included for attaching the unit to the inside cabinet rails.

Overall Review: I am running 10x 2TB Western Digital RE4 drives in this unit and have had ZERO cooling issues where drives have over heated.

Good cable11/20/2010 6:35:15 PM

Pros: Thicker then the average eSATA cable

Cons: Could be a little more on the heavy duty side for the price (So -1 egg for this)

Overall Review: The 2 cables I bought are my main feeds between my computers eSATA SiL 3132 Port Multiplier RAID card to my Hard drive Server unit which holds 10x 2TB WD RE4 drives.

Built to last11/20/2010 6:25:38 PM

Pros: 12 NEMA 5-15P outlets(6 dubble spaced on the back and 6 stacked in front) Plastic cover over the on/off rocker switch 3 LED System lights: Power-Amber/Ground-Green/Surge-Red Rigid Steel structure Heavy duty Main power cable

Cons: The NEMA 5-15P plug sticks straight out of the wall outlet vs. being set flat at a right or left, downward 45 degree angle like most power strips and UPS's. No fasteners to attach it to my server cabinet.

Overall Review: I took off one egg ONLY because of the plug sticking straight out of the wall.
