Pros: I've seen a lot of reviews complaining about having to keep the player hooked up to the computer to be able to encode videos. This is not true. The ZEN media explorer requires that a unit be attached for it to work but if you look in the Programs Menu you will notice it installed a stand alone video converter program called "CREATIVE VIDEO CONVERTER". This utility is the same one that is run by Media Explorer but has its own icon to launch it. You can load up videos and convert them remotely while you and your player are off doing other things. Read the manual (or at least look in the program group) before complaining about a missing feature that is not missing at all.

Cons: Always try the paper clip reset button if you have any glitches. It has worked every time for me. (I keep a paper clip in the makeshift case I made for the player from the glassine envelope the screen protector came in).

Overall Review: Still loving this thing, it's got to be the best MP3 Player out there - wish newegg had the 16GB version. I can't wait to see what new products this unit evolves into next year.

Pros: I wrote a review several pages back about how this thing should have been recalled, and how the replacement I got was just as defective as the first. I said I was gonna just throw it away because it cost more than 25% of the purchase price for shipping to send it back on an RMA. I was just about to pull it out and toss it and decided to see first if there was a new firmware upgrade... there was. The newest one is 1.05 and when I installed it, the drive started working. Previously both units I experienced would not recognize CDs in the tray and made coasters out of TDK DVDs. Now, with the new firmware, it seems to be working correctly.

Cons: The firmware is only available on the European site.

Overall Review: I still think it deserved a recall. I will keep using it now that it reads and writes CDs and burns TDKs at full speed.

Pros: This keyboard is comfortable, has a nice throw for the keys and good tactile feedback. I've never used the extra function keys on other keyboards I had but these actually work (and are pretty convenient). I never looked at the mouse, it's still in its wrapper in the box. I have a VX Revolution for my desktop and was surprised to find that the software for my mouse was a newer version of the software that comes with the keyboard. When I plugged in the keyboard it already had all the on-screen displays. That threw me for a while until I realized what was happening.

Cons: Didn't buy this for the mouse. The keyboard is really nice, the mouse sucks. I don't mind, I just needed a keyboard. The Logitech logo on the palm rest LOOKS LIKE A SPIDER... OR A BIG FLY everytime I see it in my peripheral vision LOL. Even now sometimes when I go to use the keyboard my first reaction is to pull my hand back. I think it's hysterical. I've used Logitech mice and keyboards for almost two decades and I never noticed how much their logo looks like a bug.

Overall Review: I love how the keys respond, how they feel. I love the media player, home, sleep, and battery strength buttons. Very glad I got this - in spite of the bug on the palmrest.

Pros: I got two of these for an Antec Sonata III with a "green" power supply, very quiet video card and CPU fan. I replaced the Antec 'tri-level' fan because it didn't have the mobo connector the Scythe's have which allows them to be controlled by fan control software. I use the Asus utility that shipped with my mobo. The result is amazing. My computer is so quiet when I walk into the room I can't tell if it's running, I have to look at the light.

Cons: none - very high quality and I believe what they say about the lifespan of the Sony bearing.

Overall Review: I doubt I'll ever try a different brand of fan.

Pros: I was amazed how good the tuner is. It gets all the channels off the air that are available in this community. The small size is cool and the cable that lets you use an external video source has an "S" video connector (now I can backup all my laser discs). I used an old pair of standard rabbit ears - haven't tried the included antenna.

Cons: The software is pretty bad. I got Beyond TV from Snapstream and that made this tuner work perfectly. The included WIN TV did not look good or perform well. It's clunky, dated design and the tuner didn't work as well as the third party program. Unfortunately Beyond TV is not free.

Overall Review: Hauppauge should include the MAC software and redesign their WIN TV program. They do include a short USB extension cable which is thoughtful.
