Overall Review: I needed to set up a low cost VMWare test server at home and VMWare no longer supports Realtek drivers which is what came built-in on the motherboard. Most supported NICs are around $100 or more. The Broadcom BCM5721 is on the supported list for ESXi 5.5 and this one is under $40. This card gives me excellent throughput and I had my lab up and running in no time. I'll definitely buy this card again should I have the need to build another low cost VMWare server.
