SUPERMICRO CSE-825TQ-R700LPB Black 2U Rackmount Server Case w/ 700W Redundant Power Supply
SUPERMICRO CSE-825TQ-R700LPB Black 2U Rackmount Server Case w/ 700W Redundant Power Supply

Pros: Great design, with cable management and air flow in mind when created. Includes extra cover for MB area that further adds cable management and air flow, to allow for concentrated air over the proc and RAM. Also, this conveniently separates the PCI slots from adding to the CPU heat, but still allows air flow for PCI as well.

Cons: Only comes with 4 shielded SATA cables, but they are cut to length for each length of drive bay. Strange they only include 4 considering there are 10 total bays for 3.5in HDDs.

Absolute Garbage

Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064RB 3.5mm Connector Desktop Microphone
Cyber Acoustics CVL-1064RB 3.5mm Connector Desktop Microphone

Pros: None.

Cons: In order of importance: The microphone only picks up audio from approximately 2-3 inches away and still sounds extremely quiet with +40db gain, the worlds thinnest cable was used, as a result of these two observations the audio quality was complete garbage and hard to understand.

Overall Review: There's an on/off switch, although this should really be standard on any decent microphone. There was glue all over the outside of the top of the microphone stick. Hand glued in IndoChina?

Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor
Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor

Pros: Excellent monitor, with a perfect price point. It's above the cheap stuff, but not the cutting edge / graphic design price point. Swivel, tilt, rotate, height, adjustments with easy clip on/off locking mechanism.

Cons: Not 4k.

Best Performance/Value Ratio

MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N670 PE 2GD5/OC
MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N670 PE 2GD5/OC

Pros: Any game, max graphics, and it still won't stress this card. -47fps Solid on FurMark for 30 minutes. (In case you need a reference point, most of the GTX 680 stock numbers were around 45-46fps) -TwinFrozr heatsink would be perfect for SLI builds as well. -256bit DDR5, 1344 CUDA Cores

Cons: -(The 1 star reduction was for this) The card I received has a warped PCB, could be due to the massive heavy heat sink, but it feels like it might have been just a warped PCB as well. This has not affected performance to my knowledge, but I will report back if it does. -While it is nice the card comes OC'd, you really can't push it much more than it already is at, making the Afterburner software unnecessary really, and myself a little disappointed.

Overall Review: -As has been mentioned in other reviews as well as this one, the card sags to the heat sink side which if you have a tight case could cause you some issues with the neighboring expansion slots. One solution to this in my case was the support/divider that was provided with my Cooler Master HAF-X case for supporting multiple high end cards. Once this device was in place it forced this graphics card to straighten out and is supporting its weight so the strain is not on the PCI slot. -Another thought is with as warped as mine was, and without the support arm, the pins of the PCI-E x16 slot nearest the south bridge were almost not touching on the top. This could potentially cause an issue, I did not test though. -I can't remember which Newegg account I bought this from, so if it doesn't show "Verified Owner" my apologies.

Amazing

Swiftech H220 Water Cooler
Swiftech H220 Water Cooler

Pros: 100% EXPANDABLE ... Also, it performs great as is for just the CPU and fits perfectly in the pre-drilled mounts on the HAF-X case.

Cons: Only 2x120mm fans so if you wish to run a push/pull system you have to either buy 2 more or mount it to existing case fans. (this was the case for me on my HAF-X)

Overall Review: I would recommend this system over all of its competition. Before choosing to buy this product, I tried the Antec 920 kuhler (which wasn't bad but didn't fit comfortably in the HAF-X), and the Corsair H110; both of which did not perform to the level of the Swiftech H220.

Very Nice

BenQ 21.5" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI GL2250TM
BenQ 21.5" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI GL2250TM

Pros: 1080p - great contrast - swivel base - adjustable height - tilt - ROTATE TO PORTRAIT!!!! - built in speakers - cable management bracket on the back side of base.

Cons: No HDMI port, which is a pain because this monitor comes with built in speakers.

Overall Review: I bought 2 of these on sale for $99.99 each, and for that price these are a steal. Not sure I would pay $160 for them though because they have built in speakers but no HDMI port, so you have to use the AUX 3.5mm jack. If you're looking for a work environment, these are perfect for the price. If you are a gamer, you need to look at BenQ's higher end if you really care about what you see, and you should considering that's the whole point.
