Great Camcorder

Pros: Small, lightweight 3 CCD MiniDV camcorder with excellent brilliant video quality, decent sound quality, decent still images, Optical Image Stabilization, decent low light performance, easy to use. Good quality camcorder for the price.
Cons: No analog inputs or analog to digital conversion. Manual could be better. Have to open LCD to go to the manual mode.
Overall Review: Battery life with supplied battery exceeds at 1 hour. I like the battery charger setup. Zoom speed can be from very slow to fast, or in between, with a little practice. Joystick menu navigation can be used while using the viewfinder (or LCD). You can take stills while shooting video. Supplied with 16 MB SD card, enough so you can see the still quality. You can transfer the full quality video with Firewire or "High Speed" USB 2. Top loading cassette allows you to leave the unit on a tripod while changing tapes. Sufficient optical zoom. Turn it on, if you left it in the Auto mode begin shooting video, press the still photo button whenever you want a still image on the SD card.

Pros: Tested on three digital camcorders, they work.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Previous Kingston SD cards worked well for me.
Great Easy To Use Camera

Pros: This is a great camera for the price. I purchased it for my wife to use and as a spare camera. I am not disappointed, I would buy it again. It has a lot of advanced features. Glad to see AA batteries are used instead of a proprietary batteries and SD cards are inexpensive. The Image Stabilization (IS) works well.
Cons: Doesn't come with a case and a perfect fitting case is difficult to find.
Overall Review: I bought an inexpensive 4 cell AA Ni-MH charger which allows me to have two extra AA batteries on hand and two in the camera. You really need to buy a larger SD card. I have several 1 and 2 GB cards.
