Excellent Drive

Pros: I've had this drive for just over a year now. I've had it in 3 laptops and filled it and re-filled it with very large files. It's taken everything I've thrown at it.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: To those who have troubles with drives in external enclosures, I find those problems often come from two preventable causes: 1. Not using a Y-cable on a drive which needs more then 500 mA of power under load, or 2. Using a Y-cable, but plugging it into the drive before plugging both ends into the computer. Either one of these will destroy a drive -- maybe not the first time you do it, but soon. Or you could have just a bad drive. Every manufacturer has marginal drives which slip through QA.
Good Drive, BAD software

Pros: The drive itself is great. It runs fine, accesses all formats of disc, etc. If you're looking for a bare blu-ray drive and already have the software you need to run it, it's fine.
Cons: The bundled software (Cyberlink PowerDVD 9) is *C*R*A*P*. It installs several completely unnecessary services, isn't compatible with Windows 7 desktop compositing, constantly nags for "registration", etc, and to top it all off, won't even play some Blu-Ray discs. It's more adware than useful software. Do yourself a favor and don't even install it.
Nice case for a good price.

Pros: Nice small case. Looks good. Lighted front fan and rear fan run quite quietly. 2.5" drive mounting spots on the case. Plenty of hardware, even extra motherboard standoffs (six pre-installed but movable, two additional. All of the screws and hardware with the exception of the standoffs are black in keeping with the aesthetic of the case.
Cons: The 2 2.5" drive mounting spots are so close together that you can't use both of them. Well, you could, but there'd be no room for the SATA cables. No manual. Not even a single quick reference sheet. I guess these guys take the "Do-It-Yourself" of DIYPC very seriously.
Overall Review: I bought this to replace a standard mid-size ATX tower for my media center. I almost removed this from the cases I was considering because it didn't look like it had an external 3.5" bay. But Newegg's specifications read: External 3.5" Drive Bays: 1 This case does NOT have an external 3.5" drive bay. There is one 3.5" bay, and while the metal chassis leaves the front of the bay open, the plastic front panel does not accommodate this (in fact, the power switch directly obstructs it.) Fortunately for me, what I wanted to put in the 3.5" bay (USB ports for my wireless keyboard/mouse) work fine without being exposed, and that leaves the front of the case smooth and looking good.
Use 9mm Drives

Pros: USB 3.0; Nice color. Works great with 9mm drives
Cons: 7mm drives can flop around; no spacer included. Latch is tricky, you have to push the whole front piece in further than you think it should go to get the latch to engage.
