Pros: Plug and play on my Dell vostro 3750 laptop; it simply paired using bluetooth system tray icon.
According to my ears the sound quality is better tham FM stereo and a bit lower than line out wire.
Cons: Belkin line out level is less than laptop line out level thus remote stereo system volume control knob must be turned up.
Remote stereo system pre-amp must have sufficient volume control range to support lower line in level or else max remote stereo system volume won't occur.
Overall Review: I think it is the newer version 2.1 bluetooth.
I did not test maximum range.
Pros: Played w/o any effects the speakers are very clear w/ defined bass. The tweeters are too bright but pleasing. The bass is too much but not muddy. Speaker has an active midrange making it a true 3-way. All the frequencies are there so they clean up great w/ an EQ! By comparison my $200 3.0 system sounds terrible since it is missing some important frequencies and has boomy bass.
Overall Review: Symbols and snare sounds real. Sound is blended better than my $200 subwoofer system. Bass is very powerful for typical music; not gansta strong. Tune your PC equalizer for amazing sound. Max volume sufficient to fill medium size bed room with medium high undistorted volume.
Pros: Installed 4GB kingston in Dell 3750 vostro beside dell 2GB ram. Intel HD 3000 shared system memory went from 712MB to 1632MB increasing Graphics score from 4.6 to 5.1. Boot time decreased from roughly 90 seconds to 55 seconds. 3GB is sufficient for many programs in win 7. For me 2GB is a bit low and 6GB is overkill.
Overall Review: Kingston scores again!
Pros: LED light is nice to verify you are transferring to correct drive. Windows explorer icon and "Patriot" label in win 7.
Dust/water resistant cap fits great. I'm not afraid to carry in pocket.
Cons: Patriot Icon is too similar to other Icons.
Overall Review: Wish more colors were available.
Pros: Looks better/smaller in person.
Metal cover is spring loaded and snaps closed; stays open once partially open.
Kingston icon appears in windows explorer making it easy to identify.
Cons: Where to get a lanyard...hmmm.
Pros: My 16.2" x 10.55" x 1.22" HP g7 fits w/ room to spare. I've been using g7 in the sleeve while monitoring temp and it does not run hotter as long as side vent not blocked. Looks very nice and protects well against bumps and condensation. The zipper is not contacting laptop because of nice rolled edging. Can zip up case while charging. I have room for a magazine, note pad and the g7. Sleeved g7 fits inside HP 613172-001 backpack.
Cons: A bit loose fitting on g7.
Pros: Receiver sticks out only 16mm. Mouse very responsive, wheel smooth, click nice, on/off manual switch nice. Keyboard is good quality, light weight, buttons feel pretty good. Sure is nice to eliminate some more wires. Combo price is a steal. Keyboard is shiny and looks pretty good.
Cons: I've seen cuter mice. No keyboard lights; perhaps for longer batt life and/or lower cost.
Pros: Looks handsome and thin. Holds shape when empty. Fits pavilion g7 (16.2 x 10.6 x 1.2"") while sleeved with Solo neoprene sleeve. Lots of additional space. Substantial padding. Has additional two 9" wide neoprene pockets. Removable cell phone/ipod case on strap. Handle very thick. Straps very wide. Many compartments.
Cons: Some interior pockets are thin. Not designed for abuse like an LL Bean bag. I'm sure mine will last for years. Probably won't last so long if lugging heavy items around every day. Not ballistic nylon like my other case.
Pros: Been running my similar single core pentium IV for almost 5 years now. Great CPU for mild computing.
Cons: My new Pent IV CPU produced random blue screens.
After much testing I determined it was the CPU.
Newegg replaced CPU and I have been happy ever since.
No blue screens over 4 years now.
Pros: good fast burner.
mine came w/ snap on silver front to match my Aluminum box.
Cons: The door belt sliped after 4 years .
New belt costs about $2.
Pros: Kept my Pentium IV cool for almost 5 years now.
Cons: Not whisper quiet.
Overall Review: I use fan speed controller to extend fan life and minimize noise.
Pros: Over 4 years running this ram .
Still love my I-Will PC shoe box.
Performs great w/ this ram.
Cons: Not free
Overall Review: if doing video editing or gaming then may want to up your system.
Pros: installed about 4 years ago.
tuned one time to achieve quiet fan while providing good cooling.
Cons: take few minutes to install and tune.
Overall Review: may extend fan life.
Pros: No coasters. Print is among the best you can expect for an inkjet printable disc.
Pros: Easy to make your USB 2.0 compliant PCs wireless. HotSpot Detector is an added bonus.
Cons: Trying to remember where the dust cap is. Well...Who needs it anyway.
Pros: Among the quitest optical drives I've owned for playing and burning DVDs.
Overall Review: I never tried the light scribe so I'm not sure how loud light scribe operation is.
Pros: Nice because you dont have to always reposition mouse. I love it for general use when I dont have to be precise with cursor position.
Cons: Need steady thumb.
Takes some practice before using it to edit photographs.
Overall Review: I set mine up so I move track ball with my fingers instead of my thumb.
Pros: I have used 4 of these Northwood processors in the last few years. Sufficient power to do video editing if your on a budget. Will run at 100% for hours on end and run at 129F.
Used in coastal non-conditioned shop for years at about 90F ambient temp.
Cons: One unit I ordered recently caused random shutdowns and blue screens. Newegg quickly replaced it and the new one is great.
Overall Review: Good processor for windows XP. Good for moderate video editing and light gaming (Sims 2). Great processor for Photoshop, and sound recording.
Pros: More than enough cooling for Northwood 2.8 GHz P4.
Installed easy. Feels solid.
Cons: Louder than my PSU fan. Installed Zalman Fan Mate 2 to reduce sound lower than my PSU sound level.
Pros: Reduced noise of my 4000rpm CPU fan by reducing speed to 3000rpm while maintaining stable Nothwood 2.8Gz P4 temperature.
Overall Review: I adjusted fan speed in BIOS only. Running Fan at lower RPM should increase Fan bearing life. I have software CPU high temp alarms and trips in case the Zalman ever fails.
Pros: Heat spreader should reduce thermal stress and increases reliability. Works Perfect. Installed Perfect.
Overall Review: Fit in my shoebox size IWill XP4G PC. RAM temp measured 123F under full load.
Pros: Great upgrade for 4x AGP IWill XP4G. Works great in 4x with 220 Watt PSU (spec= 12amp @ +12 volt). The PSU output voltage is stable and my PSU low voltage alarm never tripped. Installed perfect. Works nice for video editing and Sims 2.
Overall Review: Performance similar to GeForce 6200 256MB in 4x application. The HIS x1650pro installed much nicer than EVGA GeForce in IWill XP4G. The x1650pro produces more heat so I drilled holes in my shoebox sized case at x1650pro fan suction. Small cases must have good airflow or else the case temp will climb.
