AG Neovo F-419 19" SXGA 1280 x 1024 D-Sub, DVI-D LCD Monitor
AG Neovo F-419 19" SXGA 1280 x 1024 D-Sub, DVI-D LCD Monitor

Pros: Great gaming/great movie-watching monitor, bright, sharp image, great colors, no dead/ stuck pixels. Price 4ms 16.7M Colors

Cons: Sometimes the menu buttons require a little force to make them work People are too nit-picky. ALL monitors have their problems.

Overall Review: Whoever says this monitor is too bright and has to set it down to the 20's obviously doesn't get outside in the sun much. Mine is at 67. I'm in front of the thing all day and it doesn't bother me one bit, even thought it can get very bright. The stand is perfectly fine. I'm a college student and there people in and out of my room all day using this computer/monitor, so it gets knocked around alot. No real issue w/ the stand. The backlight leaking through is only noticeable with a completely black screen, and even then it's pretty much symetrical, not uneven. If your picture doesn't look too great, consider upgrading your graphics card because the picture is among the sharpest I've seen, doesn't ghost, the colors are very accurate and vibrant, and the menus are very easy to navigate. Price to performance, CAN'T BE BEAT.

ECS K8T890-A (1.0A) 939 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard
ECS K8T890-A (1.0A) 939 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Inexpensive, Works, Can use both AGP and PCIe

Cons: Layout is horrible. Most Graphics Cards cover the SATA ports. Also, the board has overclocking capability but is completely unstable with any changes to clock speeds and voltages. Also, may not read processor temperatures accurately and the chipset itself gets very hot. AGP slot has the same BUS as the normal PCI slots so it can use an AGP card, but there is no performace over a PCI card.

Overall Review: Decent makeshift board, not for the enthusiast. Don't buy.

LOUD

AeroCool AEROFANS-X X-Blaster 80mm Case Cooling Fan
AeroCool AEROFANS-X X-Blaster 80mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: Puts out good air.

Cons: Very Friggin LOUD. Sounds like a small jet taking off when at full speed on my fan controller.

Overall Review: If you don't mind the noise, these fans are great. Using two of them on the front of my case by the HDDs. Does a good job keeping them cool.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.0 GHz Socket AM2 Dual Core Processor - ADA4000CSBOX

Pros: Excellent Proc. Overclocked to 2.38 stable w/o changing voltage. Coupled w/ 7900GTX...very fast, great for gaming. Runs FEAR and Doom 3 flawlessly w/ settings all the way up. Stays very cool. Stable 38 deg.C at idle using fan and heatsink that came w/ it.

Cons: AMD, in all their wisdom, released this as their only 2 x 1mB L2 Cache X2. If there was a faster X2 (bigger than 2.0ghz) w/ the same size caches, I would have gotten that but all the others (4600+,5000+... have 2x512kb caches). Guess that's what OCing is for!

Overall Review: Using 2gigs of Ultra DDR2 800 (Dual Channel)on Foxconn mobo. No complaints. NEW EGG IS THE BEST!
