Great motherboard...

Pros: Works well with both Windows XP and Linux.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I purchased it as a motherboard for a low cost Intel Pentium E5300 Dual-Core based system.
RAM issues

Pros: Nicely designed board layout, fast, rich with features.
Cons: Only 4GB out of 6GB of RAM shows up on POST and in operating system after cold start (computer has been off for about 6 hours). If I turn the computer off and switch right back on again, the full RAM shows up until next cold start. With only 4GB RAM showing, if I restart (Windows XP 64bit or Linux 64bit) or press reset button, POST still only shows 4GB. With all RAM showing up at POST and in operating systems, if I turn computer off and leave off for an hour or two, then power back on, all RAM shows on POST and in operating systems. Troubleshooting: Ran Linux 64bit boot CD MemTest86 for two hours with all 6GB of RAM showing at POST and it did not find any problems with RAM. Reseated DIMMs twice -- problem still persists on cold start: First time reseated memory in place, second time moved DIMM in A1 to B1, B1 to C1, and C1 to A1. Updated BIOS from 0603 to 0801 -- problem still persists on cold start. Made sure BIOS settings are running CPU and memory on defaults (auto).
Overall Review: Windows XP 64bit or Linux 64bit only sees 4GB when POST shows only 4GB. CPU-Z software run under Windows XP 64bit shows 6GB when POST and Windows XP system information shows 4GB. I believe the computer did not exhibit this problem the first few days after it was put together. Exellent RAM!

Pros: Good price. Runs at full rated speed (clock and CAS) flawlessly. System specs: Motherboard: ASUS Z170-K CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.20GHz
Cons: Not a con of the RAM: I had to update BIOS to latest revision (3805) to solve a power-on-self-test issue.
Overall Review: I recommend this for those with same motherboard who need to upgrade to more RAM.
Awesome case (and power supply)

Pros: Great design, plenty of room, quiet power supply fan, looks nice, keeps system cool.
Cons: Would be nice if rear of case accommodated a 120mm fan.
Overall Review: If I could fit a ATX motherboard in it I would!
