Great Performance Video Card
Pros: Comes close to or outperforms a gtx 980 in benchmarks. Quiet. Very nice design, ventilation on the card looks reminiscent of vents on a sports car. Came with access to software like Xsplit, although it was not for the length of time that was mentioned on the packaging.
Cons: Has less vram than the 4gb GTX 1050ti; point to mention though this makes little difference if you are sticking to 1080p gaming.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product. I would buy this product again.
Review Update
Pros: American made? Color scheme.
Cons: Issues with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 after all. Intermittent BSOD. Memory errors out the wazoo. I've tried everything I could think of besides a return. I really wanted to like this product but it seems being an early supporter may have gotten the best of me this time.
Overall Review: I would try a bios update to see if it would fix the issue but AsRock has yet to release one.
Nice Product
Pros: Reliable stable product. Aesthetically pleasing for the most part, although i would have liked the metal pci-e slot that is offered on other boards as well as the led strip which is on the atx version of the gaming 3 board.
Cons: - One of the two system fan headers was non operational on arrival. Thankfully the cpu fan header worked and the other system fan header is solid enough to run 3 fans from a splitter without issue. - Bios is limited for options as far as overclocking goes. -Decent audio, but i've seen them put much better audio on boards in this price range. Still it is at least comparable or better than other options.
Overall Review: I would have liked some RGB led's or even just more led's like the phoenix boards versus just the red 'audio' trace strip, but most people seem pretty indifferent about led's on their boards. As a matter of preference on an AMD gaming board i would have preferred Killer Ethernet versus Intel. I am extremely thankful for the continued support of Gigabyte for this board. Bios F5 has finally enabled me to use my G. Skill Trident Z RGB ram at it's rated speeds. Overall i like Gigabyte products and will likely buy a Gigabyte product in the future.
Beautiful
Pros: -This ram is extremely aesthetically pleasing. -RGB led's are nice and bright, but not blindingly bright. - Good build quality compared to some other ram i have purchased.
Cons: Latency is a little high.
Overall Review: Is compatible with my gigabyte board at rated speeds with xmp as of F5 bios update. I've bought G.Skill ram a few times now and will buy their brand of ram again.
MADE IN THE USA
Pros: Fast High Mean Time Before Failure High Shock Resistance Made in America Light Weight Quality look and materials.
Cons: I believe it has an older Sand Force Controller.
Overall Review: Love It! Bought two of these SSD's.
RVZ02 Console Killer?
Pros: Slim Excellent Design and Quality. Easy to build in compared to other small form factor designs. 2x Tool-less 2.5inch (ssd) Drive caddies. Still supports the option to mount a 3.5 inch hard drive. Supports an Optical Display Drive. Compartmentalized sections to prevent heat transfer between components. Namely video card has it's own compartment. Has easy removable dust filters on side panels. Solid side panels. Identical side panel design so panels can be put on either side. Quick assembly. Accessory bag. Can be oriented horizontally or vertically, thanks to included stands or sticky pads. Beautifully printed manual on quality textured paper. Could possibly be a sort of linen paper. Excellent box. Well packaged. Light weight.
Cons: Missing Filters on top and bottom. Could use an led on power button itself. I/O Cover Bezel is hard to move, I feel with use though this will become less of an issue. Side panels are bland. Would be nice to have an imprint or badge on them. Does not come with the attachable handle some of the new milo series (HTPC version) are being offered with. The side panels have holes predrilled for attachment of one already. Not a proper reset button. Rarely used now anyways though. No system fan support, although not necessarily a con since I have no issues with heat dissipation because of the excellent design. Does not support water cooling without modification.
Overall Review: Front LED matches the LED's on my motherboard. (GIGABYTE GA-B85N Phoenix-WIFI) Just Get It! This is the best case I have built in.
