Pros: Excellent product. Drive reads and writes very well. Functions as advertised.
Cons: I affixed VTEC and red flame stickers on the front bezel but doing so did not add extra horsepower to the drive.
Overall Review: If you who do not know what OEM is, please read up on the term before you purchase this product so that you know exactly what you're getting. Newegg does not sell open-box products as new. Never have, never will. If it's one thing you can count on from Newegg, you can expect and and will receive business integrity. It's surprising that some people who claim to be knowledgeable in computer products or run computer businesses do not even know what OEM means. Would you trust those business with your computer? I sure wouldn't.
Patriot SCORCH M.2 2280 128GB PCIe 3.0 x2 NVMe

Pros: Fast Excellent price
Cons: See "Other Thoughts" below.
Overall Review: I purchased a very low-end Dell Inspiron 5570 with an i3-8130U, 12GB RAM, and a very slow 1TB Seagate hard drive. Even with a completely clean install of Windows 10 with no extra Dell software, the hard drive was so slow it took about 90 seconds to get to a usable state in Windows. For my intended use, I purchased the 128GB version to use solely as a Windows boot drive with a handful of small programs like my MP3 player, video player, and antivirus and have been using it for one month. I am using about 32GB of space leaving 80GB free on this drive. My laptop is just a fun laptop and is not used for anything work-related so I knew the 128GB version would be all I need. If you plan on installing more than just the OS and a few small programs, I would recommend something larger than 128GB. The original 1TB Seagate drive is now used to house my music, movies, documents, etc. I don't want to just rip on this Seagate drive so I will say it performs very well and is quite fast when it comes to running and accessing my files. It was just absolutely terrible at loading Windows 10. Now, the reason I am so happy I purchased this solid state drive: I have disabled fast startup and from a complete shut-down, Windows loads to a usable state in about 20 seconds and finishes loading all my startup programs in about 40 seconds. One of my favorite things about solid state drives is there are no moving parts. With the Seagate hard drive, I would hear it going crazy for at least seven minutes after Windows loaded up. Now, I see all my programs loaded up in the system tray and my CPU immediately drops to low-speed idle. The only negative (and I am probably nitpicking due to lacking the proper knowledge of M.2 drives as this is my very first one) is this drive appears to run a bit warm. This drive idles around 44 to 52 celcius inside my laptop. With proper air flow in a full-size PC, I am willing to bet this will go down but I don't have a PC to check this. Or maybe all M.2 drives idle at these temperatures. Again, this is my first M.2 drive so I do not know any better. Patriot has never let me down and this is no exception. This drive has breathed life into my brand new Dell laptop which ran like it was 10-years-old, brand new, out-of-the-box. The speed upgrade is just indescribable. I don't dread turning on my laptop anymore. I press the power button, get comfortable in my chair, and Windows is completely loaded. Thank you, Patriot. Five eggs!
Patriot PCBOWAU2-N Wireless LAN USB Adapter

Pros: Plugged in, installed drivers from Patriot website (which is conveniently linked on Newegg's product page), started surfing the web in than five minutes. See "Other thoughts" below.
Cons: If I had to be picky, I'd say the only con I can think of is that the cap which covers the USB end does not fit on the back of this adapter. Not a big deal to me because I just stash it in my computer spare parts drawer. Again, this con is just me being insanely picky. That's it.
Overall Review: The only reason this took me five minutes to install and start surfing the web is because this was installed on a really low-end computer that can barely run Windows XP. This also cost a few bucks more than some of the other offerings here on Newegg but I am familiar with the Patriot brand and feel like their quality is worth the peace of mind. When it comes to electronics I'm all for spending a few more bucks for something that lasts.
ASUS DRW=22B2Sb

Pros: Reads and writes very well. Not very loud. Not sure there are any other pros to list for DVD recorders.
Cons: If I had to be picky I'd say the tray seems a little flimsy. But does that really matter? It's not a cup holder.
Overall Review: I've only had this for a little over a week but so far it's recorded everything I've asked it to. The drive came with a disc with some software on it. Keep in mind this drive is OEM so the one you order may not include a disc. Sometimes the OEM items I order include a software disc and sometimes nada. I placed my order at around 10:30am EST on a Wednesday and Newegg had it in my hands the next day. They shipped so fast I didn't get my trackingAnd that's free shipping! I don't know any other company out there that ships as fast as Newegg with a Free Shipping option. Even their Egg Saver shipping is ridiculously fast.
Yamaha RX-V765

Pros: More inputs than I can shake a stick at. Pre-outs for future external amplifier upgrade. Runs very cool even after 8+ hours of continuous usage. Menu is easy to figure out. Tons of options. Easy to read front panel display. Great value for the money.
Cons: I can't really think of any. This is a wonderful receiver. It may be considered entry-level/mid-range but hell, for the amount of money I paid for this sucker it is absolutely worth it.
Overall Review: I love how some people don't know what a "product review" is. A product review is your opinion on how a product works. Is it good or bad at what it is meant to do? Are there improvements you wish they made? A product review is not about the price of the item set by the reseller. It's like saying "I gave this Yamaha RX-V765 two eggs because I find newegg.com's logo offensive."
16x but only burns at 8x

Pros: Not one coaster out of 300 discs so far.
Cons: Advertised and labeled as 16x but only burns at 8x on my Samsung SH-S182M.
Overall Review: Pretty sure it's not my firmware that's causing the discs to burn slowly. When I upgraded to SB05, I could still burn my old spindle at 16x but this batch is only 4x-8x. Out of four 100 disc spindles, two of them are 8x when labeled as 16x. They still burn and read fine but remember: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
