Follow-up post ...case NOT at fault.
Pros: Update on my earlier posting ref "Problems lurking". I ran the comparison with other case and problem still there. Returned MB to store and reinstalled in Level 10 GT case and everything was fine. It was a faulty MB. Case is working great, install was fast thanks to the roomy case. Don't think twice, this is the case to get!
Cons: Absolutely none!
Overall Review: Truly will be my last case since this baby is just fabulous to look at, work around, and very low temps. And yes its heavy but that's what the handle is for.
Bad Bad Router!!
Pros: Nice looking, good connections, and GENIE software is great.
Cons: Router has major engineering flaw with the firmware getting corrupt for no obvious reason. Had it 1 month, call Tech Support, after 1 hr online managed to flash new firmware. Had blinking power light. Within 4 months, happened again but this time out of 90-day warranty so wanted to charge me $170 to go through process of flashing firmware. I trashed router and bought the ASUS RT-AC66R. Have been a happy camper ever since. NETGEAR has a major problem with this router and it should be taken off the market. Don't waste your money nor time. Pay attention to all these numerous bad reviews!
Overall Review: ASUS works great but wish it had a GENIE equivalent software app......
Great MB!!
Pros: * easy install * small footprint enables lots of movement within case * 6 sata (2 6gb/4 3gb) plenty of storage * solid performance/easy to overclock with 2600K * good price
Cons: * disastrous software which was impossible to install cost the rating 1 egg * ASUS support totally worthless, after 1 hour phone call gave up on them * still not able to install utilities if anyone has had luck with this would appreciate some feedback.
Fast but not Fastest....
Pros: Fast, easy install, nice accessories
Cons: Sometimes will pause when opening apps which surprises me since I upgraded from the x-25M 160GB SSD which zipped through everything. This SSD is fast but "sometimes" not as fast as my old X-25M, can't figure it out. .
Overall Review: May switch over to OCZ Vertex 3 when its released if pricing is comparable. Again, this guy is fast but not as fast as I expected.
Big but Effective!
Pros: 2 fans which provides the best cooling solution, fairly easy to install with good instructions, and competitively priced.
Cons: Its huge so need a big case. Fit well into my new Thermaltake Level 10 GT but no cons to speak of.
Overall Review: Has brackets for all sockets.
Good case but problems lurk...
Pros: Hot-swappable bays are great though as previously mentioned not tool less. Fan lights add sparkle to overall appearance. Lots and lots of room inside. Cable management is great. And lastly the overall look is dynamic!!
Cons: Just received the case from newegg 2 days ago and have not been able to boot yet! Have replaced power supply and MB to avail. I now suspect the MB is not properly grounded in the case and causing a short resulting in a no-boot. As an added note, when I turn the unit on, I get lights, fans all work (including the one in the power supply) but no error beeps and no startup. Next step is to install everything into old case and confirm my suspicion.
Overall Review: Unit details: 1200W coolermaster psu (new), ASIs sabertooth mb (new), 12gb G skill memory (new), intel i7 950 CPU (new), geforce 570 (new)...
