Pros: works as expected. I bought this to get rid if the cheap intel fan with the weak plastic leg mounts. I want steel screw mounts. I have no issues with access to rear of mobo, I buy cases that allow full service, only. I use SHIN ETSU 751 HS grease only, not ever magic grease in any unmarked tube, ever. (and use tiny amounts) shipped from calif. warehouse, not china, as others said. shipped FED express. my 7700 will not overheat. only this matters to me, and I never overclock .

Cons: no flashing led fans, that kid love , me, could care less. no good with 5GHz overclocking (sarc) no good if building a silent system. (but is quiet but never silent, most silent HS are 45watts max (fails) I need 91w. may not fit some mobo, if the spacer hits the socket mount, I contacted the maker and and asked for the drawing of the back plate, so we can add it here. in mm. 25.4mm + 1 inch (USA imperial measure"archaic") i asked them to lay the back plate on a mm ruler, making it easy for them and use to scale it (cake walk) the only real issue for any good back plated HS is the fit there. vast variances mobo to mobo.

Pros: works after hard work.

Cons: it does not fit PC nor fit any works stations. thus the very low price. IT IS FAST I can in fact modify the bracket to fit a PC, but the card is backwards and parts may hit any card above.

Overall Review: get a LSI-9211 and avoid this pain. it can be flashed to be RAID or be HBA card. and fits. PC's.

Pros: fast an snappy, cute colors (lol). No smoke, No sparking. if you take off the sticker the chips have no names! or p/n stealth mode.... puts me at 12GB , dual channel. runs cool.

Pros: looks nice, packed nice, sealed 100% by maker.

Cons: dead, will not work with HP 8540p laptop. in either slot, (2 max) books and windows 7, 64bit pro. locks up, instantly (fresh OS install, clean) this laptop is dual core, i5, 520M processor.. (key to making Dram work) I have more laptops to try it on, later... the LP currently has 1, 4gb HP DMM3. 1.5v, and runs perfectly, with this memory... trying to get 8gb , max, (limit on i5 this is)

Pros: A great drive, have just at home 6 running , from the first made and newer. DT and laptops. Hints: do not use most brands of free software for cloning OS. even better is Farstone drive clone, (smartest of all, and i tried them all) Do understand the rules for GPT if using that. Do a fresh install. for best experience ! if not doing a fresh install (sure I too have 100s of apps) Farstone wins.

Cons: none. not one issue ever on all SSD I own or have installed. but my PCs are virus clean, not overheating, as many are. seen so many laptops over heat it makes me sick. (clean it )! The GPT issues, really fool lots of folks. If boot protect is on , the PC will not even see any added drive. read up on how to solve that, its discussed on win 8 forums.

Overall Review: some PCs have bad bios that can not see the SSD, like Asus M2n early version. This is their problem.... Get your new drive recognized by BIOS first. then use the MS install disk to format it as you see fit (gpt, or if all this seems hard, go to the geeks, at you know where, and let them do it. the maker of the drive has no idea what your are plugging it into. so buy a cable and bracket, or if smart, get the Farstone (free) they sell more expensive SSD with bundled stuff, but why? buy it yourself and pick better products. eg: on my DT I run top brand, SATA=III low noise, and locking cables. you can even pick the color. enjoy,

Pros: blinding AC and N speeds. shocking,,,,fast,, there is HOPE!!! and on AC, wow. (802ac) not alternating current. LOL..

Cons: buy dies, every 1 hour , goes dead, in device manager. only in windows 8.1, never windows 7 (4 win 8 systems here) tried on USB2 and 3 ports. fails direct connected. no cable too.. will some tims do a netflix movie for 2hrs. but fails skype in 1hr or less like clock work. ran all drivers for from v. dot 20 to 35. 35 is current beta. the 35 beats them all, the older ones die, at system idle.pathetic that.

Overall Review: systems are all M5a99x evo based, all with tons of mem. 12gb in one. and ssd , and all had clean loads of 8.1 and 8.1 killed (no driver ever) for DWA140 dongle. so we bought this. hoping that it would have a longer life that w7 dongles dont have. many USB/WIFI are WIN8 , DOA. so AC is the way to go but is bleeding edge. why didn't netgear get certified at MS with windows 8 ALFA, ? what joke. a day late and a dollar short. sad to see. i only need it , in one room that a CAT 6 cable can never go. ever. I did find a RAlink RT3072 base dongle today, and its OK. cheers !
