Cons: -Running a game without first downloading EVGA Precision might give you a heart attack on the initial temperature reads. -Said EVGA Precision Software is pretty much mandatory. The software is great, but nowhere does it talk about this beforehand or even during.

Overall Review: EVGA Precision (Free software) is mandatory on this card. I'm talking 30-40 degree differences from before-and-after tests. It never directly states how required this is. The fan speed does not work correctly otherwise. This in itself is not a hassle- the software is great and I'm glad I found out about it, but that's the thing. I shouldn't have "found out" about it I should have known from the start as soon as I got it instead of Googling around for a bit to stumble upon it.
