Used for Windows on a Stick
Pros: Fast Sturdy Inexpensive
Cons: I occasionally lose the cap in my pocket.
Overall Review: This was a fast device that I have used to install Windows Home Server and Windows Server 2012. It transfers files fast as well but that isn't my primary use. It has worked well and hasn't given me a lick of problems.
Does not work with HP 1022
Pros: It works with some printers. They explicitly list about 60 on the NetGear site).
Cons: Printing features do not always work with Multi-function printers. No bi-directional support (my JetDirect had this). Does not support many mainstream home/home office printers, such as the HP 1022n
Gorgeous HD monitors
Pros: These are two very large monitors that I connected to the kids' Chromebooks. They work like a champ and, on the weekend, double as monitors so that one of my kids can game in HD. They are beefy and stable.
Cons: USB-C would be nice but it wasn't advertised with this monitor at this price, so I got a USB-C to HDMI converter.
Overall Review: This was a fantastic DELL monitor for the price.
Enjoyable little drive
Pros: This little drive has been absolutely amazing. I have been using it in my laptop for about 7 months and have another, about a year old, that I purchased from a box store for a lot more when I needed it. I replaced that drive with this drive and use that drive for my 2008 Server OS; this is my production W7 OS drive. This drive is fast and quiet. Transfer speeds beat the snot out of the 5400 RPM drive my laptop came with. It hasn't caused any problems, unlike 2 drives that this computer has already had.
Cons: I can barely feel the vibration transferred to the computer by the drive but it is noticeable on a flat surface. The drive runs a bit warm but most drives of this speed and type do run a bit warm.
Overall Review: This is a great drive. NewEgg shipping and processing is great, as always.
Optical Mouse 3000
Pros: * Battery Life on New Series * Snap-in Transmitter on New Series * Size and weight
Cons: * Old series had a low battery life. * Old series had a 2 piece transmitter that didn't always fit and would not last 6 months.
Overall Review: I have owned a few of these mice over the past 2 years. By far the slate mouse with the single piece transmitter has become my favorite. It fits in my hand and in my backpack. It does not feel too small. The battery life on this is great as compared to the old style.
It's just media...
Pros: It worked as advertised. I purchased these in the jewel cases because I like having the case.
Cons: None...they worked..no coasters here.
