Excellent Monitor

Acer 22" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI P223Wwd
Acer 22" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI P223Wwd

Pros: Wow! I had done alot of research on many displays and this one has it all! I wanted the glossy screen (makes for more vivid colors) and this one performs excellent! Very bright, great controls (especially paired with Catalyst tweaking). ABSOLUTELY NO DEAD PIXELS or noises from monitor. BUY IT NOW!

Cons: No height adjustment....like that matters...it has a builtin wallmount so mount it as high as you want!

Overall Review: Highly recommended! Has brought a new experience while gaming on my rig. AMD64x2 6000+, 2GB A-Data Ram, Biostar Nforce mobo, ATI radeon X1950pro, and now this monitor!

icy cold goodness

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: Removed from my old core2duo E6850 and bolted right up to my Asus P67 board. Keeps my o/c i5-2500k at 30C idle/55C load @ 4.43Ghz. No issues changing over boards, just make sure to keep the little adapter that comes for the nuts for your backplate.

Cons: really? if you're considering any other cooler in the sub $100 range you must have rode the short bus, this is awesome!

Overall Review: Don't listen to all the "you have to apply the thermal paste a certain way posts" put a dime size portion of thermal paste on the center of your processor and bolt this baby up. EZ breezy. Included thermal paste working great

WOW

Intel Core i5-2500K - Core i5 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge Quad-Core 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Intel HD Graphics 3000 Desktop Processor - BX80623I52500K

Pros: Wow........fast.....wow.... I still can't get over how fast this thing is coming from an E6850 Overclocked without a hiccup to 4.5gHz (100x45) after voltage adjustment to 1.315v. 37C idle 67C load with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

Cons: it wasnt free?

Overall Review: Dont think about it. Dont ponder how fast you could be. DUMP THE MONEY AND BUY!

Great budget board

ASUS P8P67 LE (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel P67 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Extremely easy setup, EFI bios takes some getting used to, but grows on you after a while. USB 3.0 works great!!! Was able to O/C my i5-2500k to 4.5gHz using the AI Suite II software located on the DVD. Plugged everything in and booted right up after setting up Raid 0 array.

Cons: ***PLEASE READ IF YOU INTEND TO DO A CRAZY OVERCLOCK*** This P67 board does NOT have a BIOS adjustment for VCORE (or VID as they call it now) You must make this adjustment in the AI Suite II software which is not as precise, but keeps my processor at or around 1.315V using a 45 multiplier. I've tried everything I know including contacting ASUS tech support and have not been able to exceed this threshold (I know the proc will take more). Also, no bios updates are available, but plenty for the DIGI VRM+ motherboards. Hope in the future they add a vcore setting so I can hit 5gHz.

Overall Review: Overall I'm pretty pleased with this board; however it could have been more than what was sent. My goal was 4.5gHz (which I got), however not with the precise tuning I would have liked to have. 7.9 WEI after overclock. Excellent!

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: Great contact with processor. I'm running an older E6850 Core2Duo, but needed a quiet solution. With great case airflow I installed this cooler without the fan attached. PASSIVE cooling I am 35C idle, 45C load under Prime95. Highly impressed with this and absolute silent operation (other than my case fans). Using Arctic Silver 5, holds firm on the processor.

Cons: Huge, side of case hits the top (didnt stop me from installing it). Need to grow 2 more arms to hold it in place while screwing it in, but installation was a breeze.

Overall Review: With the fan, it cools much better; however this is still well in spec for a C2D temp. Processor is not overclocked.

Excellent mobo

DFI NF650i Ultra-T2 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard
DFI NF650i Ultra-T2 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Excellent format, support for 1333 FSB Cpus, a TON of overclocking options...this is my first motherboard that I was able to install and fired up on the first try. Has power/reset switch ON THE BOARD so you can overclock while saving time. Great functionality for small price.

Cons: My E6850 recognized as 747mHz on bootup, had to flash bios from DFI website to 7/24/07 bios. After that it absolutely screams, recognizes as 3GHz and gets er done. Used the Winflash utility to flash bios while in Windows, worked GREAT!

Overall Review: Came from the MSI/Epox bandwagon....and dont think I'll go back, DFI makes a VERY solid board with great features for a mediocre price. I would highly recommend.
