It is fast, bench it on a good system, read real reviews

Pros: This drive is surprisingly quiet, I thought it would be louder, but it makes me want to get a 2nd to replace my 500 GB & 400 GB drives to remove their noise comparatively. The drive is fast despite what people who obviously have no factual bases for their claims state. You can see a review at Tomshardware.com under the Storage section. They also tested the Seagate 750 ES two reviewers claim is just as fast. Fact is the Samsung's Avg Read rate is about 92 MB/sec and the Seagate 750 ES is about 63 MB/sec = ~50% improvement. For judgment after seek time, look at the Windows Load Times. My own testing using HD Tach 3.0.4.0 also demonstrate an average of ~92 MB/sec read. Further, I notice it a lot in high end game load times online (as a real world test ). Previously, I still finished loading first in multiplayer verse all but Raptor users and other very fast drives. Now, the difference in my load time is even more noticeable and I often finish with others still at 50-60% complet
Cons: Had problems doing a large format in Windows XP SP2 + Updates. Using 680i motherboard that is known to have a fast SATA II controller but also not as robust as some of the Intel South bridges. Formatted in Windows Vista 64-bit without a problem though on same system. Cannot say where the fault of the issue ultimately rest because I did not test format again on another XP system.
Overall Review: Read the Tom's Hardware Review to see their full test of this hard drive compared to many of the most popular, newest, and "fastest" drives in the same test bed. Some of these negative reviews may have benched the drive, but you have to ask yourself, what motherboard/storage controller they are using to have a drive that clearly performs at ~92 MB/sec read in many NE reviews and professional reviews perform at the level of a Seagate 750 ES. I did not personally bench the Seagate 750 ES, but Tom's did, and they're a reliable professional reviewer and it does ~63 MB/s.
Some Info

Pros: * It's very fast. * Runs cool & quiet due to 3 platters instead of 4 or 5 like other brands. * I mainly wanted to point out a few things others have mentioned. See Other Thoughts.
Cons: * I see a fair number of post (while searching for them) regarding the Maintenance Cylinder failing the HUTIL test as well as some Sector ECC errors. I had the MC myself so looked into it. Unfair to say that this means there is a high defect rate, it's just that I was looking into it. * Read it has a lot of problems with external storage devices such as NAS enclosures detecting it.
Overall Review: * For the NAS issue, many people have resolved it by using the SATA Jumper. * First thing I would do when I get this drive is using Samsung's HUTIL and test it. * The "clicking" sound is caused by the drives dynamic ability to spin-up/down individual platters to save energy - so it sounds like a quiet version of the first sound of an entire HDD going into sleep/off (Windows setting) without the 2nd large clicking sound. Some say it happens every 10 minutes... I've usually only experience it once a few minutes after booting up into Windows. * My drive had the Maintenance Cylinder error, which had no produced any serious problems but RMA'd to be safe. Newegg is great about these things. I plan to get a 2nd F1 to give it a fair shot and other drives have reported problems too. If it has the same problem, I'll have to go with Seagate 1TB. * Samsung's website is lacking a lot of useful information regarding their HDDs.
Good, if they're comfortable for you

Pros: * High build quality and materials, especially for the price. * Sound quality is as expected at this price range. * Mic works well, with above average recording quality.
Cons: * Not as comfortable as advertised. Everybody claims this, few accomplish it. In part this is a personal thing depending on the shape of your head, but the lack of cushion on the ear cups has a lot to do with this. 30-50% cushion would make these much more comfortable for virtually everybody. All aspects of the build quality is good except this. * Cord is short. Gamers that have their computer on the ground under their desk may find the cord requires them to rearrange their system placement or get an extension. My system isn't particularly far and this cord falls well short. Three other headsets reach - 2 easily and 1 barely.
Overall Review: I purchased these based on reviews that they are comfortable and the circumaural design. Price was a non-issue, but still considered. Also bought a more expensive pair in search of new comfortable headset.
Nice bonus.

Pros: I got this in a combo deal when buying a camera here at Newegg which made it an unbeatable deal since it was free. =) I already have several SD Memory Cards but getting a spare does not hurt. The main item is the small camera case which is really nice. It has a solid about of cushion to protect your camera from bumping into things when you carry it around or pack it for traveling. There is a small amount of space to allow you to carry a few small items like spare SD memory cards or even a short USB cable so you can connect it to a computer.
Cons: The bag is a mix between a carrying case & a storage/traveling case at it's size. It's not a thin slim protective case you'd used to put your camera in and put in your pocket, but a travel sized item. However, at the same time, it is not large enough to carry all of the basic contents that come with most small digital cameras (USB cable, charger, spare memory cards) but can carry some. The outside side mesh pockets shape & size do not lend it to being to carry anything useful unless your camera uses traditional AA batteries.
Best in class

Pros: This camera is the best in it's class - both at price range & features (regardless of price). It was much easier to use than some of the reviews I saw suggested and was not any different than the Casio/Sony cameras I am used to. One of my primary concerns was image quality which I took the time to look into carefully. IQ is generally not a top concern for people buying Point-And-Shoot pocket digitals but it really is one of the few things that separates them from another. In the 8 MP class, I am confident this provides the best IQ. I compared it with other cameras on camera review sights and to my Nikon D300 (which it obviously could not match due to the lens but showed how good it was for a ultra slim digital). This particular model color is also very nice, one of the few if not only "adult" colors instead of the flashy teen fad colors. Does not require a cradle like some cameras - direct USB-to-computer. Nice software package.
Cons: Battery charges in an external charger. This is a con because you have to take this with you if on a trip. However, it is not something to actually rate it down one because it does extend battery life. Further, it does mean you can charge a spare while using your camera, but I do not think many ultra slim digital cameras care about that.
Best for silent PC

Pros: This fan moves a medium amount of air at very low noise levels (silent). I've tried a lot of 120mms and this is my #1 choice, I own 6 of these now. A lot of people get really high speed loud fans that move an excessive amount of air and thus create lots of noise. If you have a case that supports a lot of fans especially, pick 4 of these up instead of 2 high RPM ones. They'll move the same amount of air combined but without the noise so you can enjoy the audio of your games, music and movies.
Cons: The price is higher than regular fans, but well worth it. It is however, in-line with the 1 other fan I found to deliver good results besides this one.
Overall Review: For front mounting, I recommend using silicone mounts or liner, just to provide a little space between it and the case. This will reduce air turbulence from this type of mounting, and thus noise.
Sold EU version of the product
They sent EU version of a computer power supply unit. They did provide a power connection adapter outside of the product box but this is t really safe to use for high wattage or current. Its not that big a deal but does mean you should get a localized US power cable for this.
