works ok, but have a few issues
Pros: works well at 100MB and 1GB
Cons: Has some issues communicationg to my 10MB devices, linked on another switch. 10MB devices plugged directly into the netgear do work.
Overall Review: seems to be some compatibility issues with linking to other 10/100MB switches, might solve it by replacing that ancient switch with another Netgear GS608 :-)
thats a BIG fan
Pros: good cooler, if you can use it...
Cons: It would not fit in my Home Theater case... this is a tall fan
Overall Review: wish I could have used it, it would have save a lot of cash...
reliable drives
Pros: fast, reliable, quiet, what else can you ask for?
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: using 2 of these in a RAID 1 setup, which has worked without a hitch for a month or so now. make sure you remove the jumper to get these to run at SATA2 speed
fast cpu
Pros: overclocked in ASUS mobo at 3.875Ghz
Cons: Puts out some heat when OCing, you will need a good 3rd party cooling solution
Overall Review: price curve was failry good on this processor, and with the ASUS Mobo, I knew I could OC it, I'm pretty happy with this setup.
nice motherboard
Pros: very high build quality, works well, intel raid controller easy to setup, overclocks well, gig ethernet works, overclocked 3.2Ghz DuoCore to 3.875Ghz just fine.
Cons: wish it had 2 COM ports, its a bit pricey
Overall Review: very well built, drivers worked, although I did have to hunt around for them a bit, not a big deal. using the Intel RAID controller with (2) 320GB drives in Raid 1, works great.
