Pros: CDs, DVD-R and DVD+R - all burn fine. Only one USB port needed for Mac mini, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. (Tested on all three.) NOT a slot-loader so you'll never get a disc "stuck" inside. MUCH better deal that Apple's proprietary DVD burner.

Cons: Don't know why NewEgg can't fix the stupid description; it's NOT USB 3.0. I knew that immediately. USB 2.0 can send data faster than the drive can burn it so there's no need for a USB 3.0 burner.

Overall Review: Some complained about the shiny surface of the case being a fingerprint magnet. I just left the protective "skin" on and that prevents the fingerprints. Problem solved.

Pros: Vetbatim always fine quality. Almost never generate a "coaster".

Cons: Newegg tossed the spindles into a too-large carton with virtually no padding so, by the time they arrived, the plastic tabs holding the covers onto the spindles had broken. Luckily, the shrink-wrap Verbatim put in place around each spindle kept the discs from ending up in a pile in the carton. This is typical of Newegg. I've bought my last product from them and will be removing my eMail address from their mailing list. The company just doesn't care.

Overall Review: Do note that if you pay with a credit card, Newegg -will- pay for return shipping if your product is defective or if they ship it in a poor manner resulting in any damage. Do not take "no" for an answer; just dispute the charge with your CC company.

Pros: - Feels solid. I like the fact that it's self-contained and requires no wall-wart. (However, that means if the power supply fails, the unit has to be completely replaced.) - Using the three "non-supercharging" ports, I've connected a Nexus 5, an Asus 7" tablet, and a B&N Nook Color HD+ (the last of the 9" variety). All are indicating charging. The HD+ is notorious about refusing to charge if the power adapter can't provide at least a -solid- 2A. Knowing that I can charge all three of the devices listed above at once is a bonus as I really only bought this for the HD+. - 540 day parts/labor warranty. Almost 1.5 years. I'm okay with that.

Cons: - If the internal power supply fails, you can't just order another wall-wart. However, this device was very cheap so I can replace it.

Overall Review: - I'll update the review in a few weeks and then, again, in a few months once I have some history with it. - I don't think I own any device that can take advantage of the two "supercharging" ports but they're there if I need them.

Pros: Looks pretty. HD and RAM were easy to install. Clean inside

Cons: They forgot to ship the power adapters with the 2 computers I ordered! No way to power 'em up...so they're bricks at this point.<br><br>Wrote the vendor and we'll see how responsive they are to this obvious error on their part. Would love to use these PCs for a special project.

Overall Review: Edit: Vendor eMailed and apologized; apparently, no adapters were intended to be included. As the description was inaccurate (no mention of "no power adapters"), they paid the return shipping and refunded my money.

Pros: 1. Doesn't use electricity. 2. Doesn't bark at night. 3. Will cut down on watching insipid soap operas.

Cons: Doesn't work. I used some two-conductor speaker wire arranged in a "T" configuration and it worked -much- better than this awful product.

Overall Review: They should pay -you- to try it and then throw it out.

Pros: Way more powerful than you expect. Be careful you don't blow the motherboard out of the case. I've also used it to blow up an air mattress.

Cons: Does get a bit warm with use so I'll suggest you not use it continuously for long periods of time; probably would burn out the motor. Be cautious and it should last for a good long time.

Overall Review: I've known of MetroVac for many years; actually was a supplier of some bags for their vacuum cleaners. They make low-tech, strong products. This blower is no exception.
