More than I need. Paired with i7 7820x Skylake 8 core

Pros: Everything about this board is excellent. Top grade. I love ASUS products when they work. I have been using this board now for a about two months, and it seems reliable. Everything about this build is incredibly fast. I was super curious if quad memory would actually make a difference in real time, with rendering video, and audio. Speed has increased 60% over AMD FX 8350.
Cons: What nothing in any of the documentation for the board tells you is that if you use the e-z auto tune, and you choose gaming pc vs desktop, it cuts lan speed to no more than 10 mbps through ethernet, connection, however doesn't effect wi-fi speeds. Because there is no documentation for this specific app within the mobo I thought I had a defective board, and rma'd it and went through the whole process of shipping and rebuilding because no one caught this. When I rebuilt the pc, the same thing occurred; using the ez tuning app in bios messes with the lan speed. I realized the error, and decided not to use app, but thought I should pass on to anyone trying to figure this out.
Overall Review: As I headlined my review, this board is more than I need. I decided I wanted a rendering pc, that could also game. Because of my choice of chip the board does fine with Intel Turbo. Since I cool using a Corsair H60 AIO don't have room to oc, but I don't have a big need to oc. The few games I have tried work well. Rendering speed has more than halved from previous PC with AMD FX 8350.
Any program that doesn't work is bad.

Pros: None
Cons: Forced to upgrade because Acronis True Image 2013/w plus pack is officially incompatible with Windows 8.1. Well True Image 2014 still crashes my system, when trying to backup.
Overall Review: These companies expect us to open our wallets, but are really callous to people who have problems. ASUS; Acronis and yes Microsoft don't care.
Solid Performer for NVME 1 TB

Pros: 1 TB NVME using for IT backups. Speed is good.
Cons: Price is obviously higher than last year for this. What is considered good deal today is overpriced compared to last year or the year before.
Overall Review: It seems to be a reliable fast drive.
Great Fan-Too Expensive

Pros: Loved the convenience of the Icue system. I think Corsair charges too much. I am happy with the operation of fan, the connection with one wire. Corsair must have heeded the reviews and included a connector with the fan. That is a plus. The fans are quite effective at quiet settings. However:
Cons: This fan is too expensive.
Overall Review: I am happy that I upgraded my cooling system. It was something I planned a year after building an i7 ROG build.
Great Fan Starter Pack Corsair Quality.

Pros: It came with two icue cables The fans were already put together. Just had to make sure of direction, easiest fan installation ever. You do have to keep in mind if you are front mounting this three pack, one side has the connector direction, and where your connecting point will be.
Cons: The price is quite fairly high, although they are charging $50 for single fans. Now the 3 pack is reduced from that price . But it really is expensive. But you have to commit to QX system. One of the icue cables that came with the 3pack fell apart the cap to the connector broke off. The extra cable from the single pack saved the day. Any setting higher than quiet setting is noticeable. I am working with Quiet settings, and I take the 3-4c hit I deal.
Overall Review: Well made, so far works well. They could shave $20.00 off the price would be sweet. I hope these last because I plan on keeping the system(Total of 4 fans +two cooler fans QX).
Corsair Products are quality built products

Pros: This is a well constructed AIO. The price is half or what it was last Christmas. I tend to wait with new implementations. I was upgrading for Christmas to myself. , icue Link H100i LCD Cooler with a LCD readout. The Icue software was quick and generally good. One quibble is you can't really tell which is which fan. With the QX system. I am upgrading from a H100 Cappelix, with ALL the wires. One for fan One for RGB into the controller. But you could tell which fan was which. I was nervous ripping out a fairly good cooler. It gave me idle 39c and usually topped out at 85c. But when I was in high use there was a very annoying throbbing sound. So annoying that I started shopping for a new system. Was even willing to go to another vendor. I really like Corsair. So when I saw NewEgg had slashed this cooler I said I'll take it, even though I had to pay the full price for the front 3 and the single rear out. There is no mix and match with this system. It has to be ALL QX. My understanding is these fans replaced the Magnetic Levitation fans, which I was using on my Cappelix cooler/system. Corsair didn't include instructions or anything in the box. I had been studying the online "manual". It was complicated. I got fed up and used intuition. Bottom line everything daisies with all the other fan(group) using a cable that looks like a portable USB drive cable. But it is the connector for this system only. One main cable from the cooler goes to the HUB, once I stopped looking at the web page, and looked at my system it came together very easily. I was very pleased there were no issues. All fan worked were identified, and fan curves were similar to the Cappelix system. Corsairs instructions weren't even as good as the old diagrams that came with previous generations. The Water Block on this cooler is a monster, very big even for a Rog Strix Z790-H it was difficult to get block on it is that big.
Cons: The cooling factor is a small but not insignificant problem. I am cooling an i7 13700k. And I am getting average idle temps of 44c. Processing video I was reaching 90c My only thought is the thermal paste that was factory installed. I have mixed feeling whether it really matters. for 5c difference The system reports the temp of the coolant and it hovers 35-37c. I can cut down a couple of degrees if I use Balanced vs. Quiet on the front fans. But the fan sound becomes noticeable, and I just could deal with the sound. When I stress testing with the Extreme setting, it started to sound like a Gregorian chant choir.
Overall Review: So I rated it 4 out of five. Four for the GOOD cooling provided. Could be better. One taken away because of increased noise with higher setting. Also it is much easier to install that the instructions show. They aren't very good. I think barring physical failure I am keeping system.
Corsair Quality in a small package
Corsair H55 is no longer being sold at Corsair. I searched NewEgg, and found one. It is similar to the one that is being replaced, Corsair H60 2018; and that cooler was great in it's day. But this new cooler is 10c less than the old cooler I am very pleased it is averaging 31-35c while using as a HTPC, with multiple Chrome Tabs open. Desktop Live Wallpaper. Deal Targets was great to work with. I had a question how it would be shipped out, and got an honest direct answer, which these days are hard to come by. I think it is the first thing I ever imported from Canada. I would buy from Deal Targets again.
