AWESOME!

MSI Laptop GT Series GT780DXR-405US Intel Core i7 2nd Gen 2670QM (2.20GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
MSI Laptop GT Series GT780DXR-405US Intel Core i7 2nd Gen 2670QM (2.20GHz) 12GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Pros: Specs for the price -- You can't beat it! Many peopel are complaining about the keyboard, or the CD drive eject button, or other items. I have not had one issue with this laptop. It's so cool! Not once has the CD-eject button let me down. No keyboard typing issues at all!!! Sure the keyboard lighting isn't PERECT, but its still realliy nice! Speakers are SWEET. Matte screen is much nicer than the ASUS glossy screen.

Cons: My only issue is that the windows key is only on the right side of the space bar. Not a deal breaker. I am learning to adapt much better than i expected.

Overall Review: I had trouble deciding between the ASUS and the MSI. There's no question now that I've seen the MSI up close. Very, very happy.

Most Critical Review

Constant Failures

NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS608NA)
NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS608NA)

Pros: Nice idea if it worked.

Cons: I've RMA'd 3 of these. I'm just about to go for my 4th. The problem has always been that one or more port does not work at Gigabit speeds. Plug the computer into a different port and it works fine -- go back to the bad port and you only get 100Mbps. This product is just Junk! I own several other gigabit switches and haven't had any troubles with the rest.

Overall not pleased

ASUS X99-DELUXE II LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS X99-DELUXE II LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Lots of features - Nice lighting

Cons: - limited options due to limited CPU lanes - Motherboard failed in 6 months. RMA to Asus.

Overall Review: - This is my second Asus board to fail (previous was a X58 Sabertooth).

wouldn't buy again

E27 165 LED 5050 SMD 30W Energy Saving Spot Corn Light Bulb Lamp Warm White 110V
E27 165 LED 5050 SMD 30W Energy Saving Spot Corn Light Bulb Lamp Warm White 110V

Pros: Looks like a cool idea.

Cons: Ordered 5 of these. 4 came damaged due to poor packaging. They ship from china. Light has a cheap led driver, and you can see the flicker like an old crt monitor. It is no where near the ~2,000 lumens advertised. I have several 1,080 lumen led lights that I purchased locally, which are much brighter and only consume 12 watts. This light is dimmer and consumes 30 watts. It's a cool looking light but it costs too much, flickers, consumes too much electricity, and is too dim to be useful.

Overall Review: I wouldn't buy this again. I gave all but one away...

Waste of money

LINKSYS WPSM54G Wireless-G Print Server 802.11b / g, RJ45 USB 2.0
LINKSYS WPSM54G Wireless-G Print Server 802.11b / g, RJ45 USB 2.0

Pros: None that I can think of

Cons: No support for windows 7. Also works poorly with any operating system. FORCES itself to be the default printer. You cannot change this. Linksys has NEVER released an update, so there's no fixing its bugs and no getting it to work with other OS'.

Overall Review: Sad I wasted my money on it. 0 out of 5.

Can't believe I don't like it

Canon EOS Rebel T1i Black 15.1 MP Digital SLR Camera w/ EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
Canon EOS Rebel T1i Black 15.1 MP Digital SLR Camera w/ EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens

Pros: FAST. Boots up quickly. 3.4 pictures per second. When using the hot shoe flash its just umlimited.

Cons: Overall I hate this camera. So far I've received TWO broke ones directly from the manufacturer. First one had a busted flash that jammed the whole camera. Second one had a broken internal light meter. Not very pleased. They just keep having me send it in for repair. So far i've dropped $80 in shipping the camera to them... and we'll see how it comes back this time! i'm sure part of it is my kit lens and the other lens i bought, but I also really don't like the pictures it takes. Depth of field is horrible. On Full Auto the camera never knows where to focus. If you do get Full Auto to work, or if you use the other camera modes, the focus is still very tricky. The point of focus is fine, but everything else is blurry. I was expecting better results.

Overall Review: 6 months ago I had the choice of Nikon vs Canon becuase I had never owned either. I bought Canon due to features/specs vs price. Unfortunately the numbers only take you so far. First it'd be nice if the camera worked... Second it'd be nice if the thing could focus decently.
