Great product for a great price.8/22/2021 12:55:56 PM

Pros: it does exactly what it says it does... and NO ISSUE

Overall Review: Have a multipurpose server serving vms for multiple functions - I ended up using up all the 2.5" and 3.5" slots with 2.5" drives... I managed to get about 8 in there using other hardware... but now, this one 5.25" bay handles all the SSDs. More room to grow!

Another SSD for my little Media Server2/28/2019 6:23:13 PM

Pros: Great price (on sale) and there was no issue with form-factor (screw holes, size, etc.). Media Server immediately detected it. No problems so far but I only have had it a day.

Cons: No mounting screws. I mean... I know it's cheap, but really?

It does what it is supposed to do8/30/2016 4:50:21 PM

Pros: It's a medium length cable, and it doesn't seem cheapy. Got it in a week.

Cons: none

It does what it needs to do8/30/2016 4:47:35 PM

Pros: 3 types of plugs for various devices

Cons: None that I could think of.

Overall Review: It's a neat little short flat cord to keep handy in times of need.

heap, flexible, and easy12/21/2015 10:19:22 AM

Pros: Long cord helps me connect my computer, or other peripherals, to a lightly distant TV.

Cons: Cord seems light and thin... not sure how long it will last, but it works fine now.

Overall Review: Bought a few of these. There's always a scenario when you need HDMI but your 3' cord work reach. Good stuff.

Just what the Dr ordered10/31/2015 6:16:50 PM

Pros: The extra fan space and airflow options is great for a high performance micro ATX installation. The case is well-built, and it has a generic, yet fantastic, look. It includes everything expected with a computer case, and it is sturdy. love the snap-in bays. Screws are so last-decade.

Cons: Not really a con, but there's not much wiggle room inside. What should I expect from a small ATX case? not much wiggle room inside. So yeah, there's that. You want a PC with a small physical footprint, right? Well, then you run into annoying issues with cable management and component installation. I expect this, and therefore not knocking an egg off for it.

Overall Review: I bought this specifically because I needed to switch to liquid cooling for my AMD CPU (suffered a few turn-offs while rendering video). Unfortunately, my last LARGE box only had one 120mm fan spot, which was already in use for case airflow. With four places that 120mm fans can be installed, this case looked like my best bet. I moved the included back case-fan to the front area, and used the back (now available) spot for the 120mm fan that connects to the liquid cooling radiator. Fits well, but wiggle-room is lacking. With any small tower, take your time with assembly.

Needs a USB3 internal hub10/16/2015 4:19:29 PM

Pros: It's great! Works as expected.

Cons: Many MBs available today have internal USB3 connectors, but a large amount of those only have only ONE internal USB connection. It's a conundrum when the case also has USB3 ports. So, which USB ports should I have connected, and which ones will be dead? My solution was to by a PCIe USB3.0 internal card with another USB3 internal connection. I believe the unit should connect to the board, and then replicate another internal USB3.0 connection for the case to use--or another internally installed device. I knocked an egg off this as I believe it to be a design flaw, because in many cases you would have to BUY ANOTHER component to make everything work, which is undesirable.

Overall Review: I'm using this for a personal ESXi 6 server. I want to eventually have up to 5 VMs running on this thing, simultaneously. Perfect for my board10/16/2015 4:06:11 PM

Pros: Fast for its class. No RAM errors detected. Yes, I test my ram before installing permanently, unlike some other reviewers who complain about bad RAM. These things are mass produced, so a DOA on occasion is expected, or a bad memory block, even right out of the bag. In my case, it worked perfectly. The real test is if it will still be "perfect" a year from now, and onward. I will be buying the exact same stuff when I go to 32GB.

Cons: none. good stuff.

Good board10/16/2015 3:59:54 PM

Pros: Works great. Needed a full size ATX board for a personal home server build. Handles my 8-core AMD FX-8320 really well. Great layout. logically placed connections. Thought was put into it's design. Excellent system UI! great price

Cons: -Ram installs to a section of the board not completely supported underneath... this bothers me when installing RAM -- I'd rather not bend the board! I guess I could blame the case, so not knocking an egg for that. -Knocked off an egg for one of the SATA port connectors falling off... I stuck it back on there... but its really loose, so it will be the last SATA port I (attempt) to use.

generally a good drive10/16/2015 3:47:45 PM

Pros: generally a good drive. Does basic stuff the drive is expected to do. No issues with installation. Not slow or incredibly loud. cheap.

Cons: knocking off an egg for some really silly behavior the drive introduced to me. Needed to boot to a DVD I burned, but it failed in reading it halfway through the installation (from CD). I validated the burn on the source PC, so I thought the problem was elsewhere. After hours of trying to figure out what the cryptic installer kept barking at, I burned another disc, at half speed, just in case the source burner was out of alignment. This still had issues, so I tried again at 8x (slowest burn rate for the source drive)... and it worked for this DVD drive. I then tested the previously burned DVDs, on another computer, and there were no data errors. I believe this drive is very sensitive to other burners' burning speeds.

Fast, but use a liquid cooler10/16/2015 3:38:41 PM

Pros: Fast. 8 Cores. Great price.

Cons: stock CPU fan is insufficient as it is incapable of keeping the AMD CPU cool during moderate to high loads. This seems to be a common problem with AMD, lately. To be honest, if their stock fans can't do the job, then AMD should stop including them. AMD processors are generally awesome aside from that point. I think AMD can save some face by not including the useless stock fans and put the owness of cooling on the customer's choice of cooling technology. My recommendation? use a liquid cooler and save yourself from future computing oddities.

wow10/16/2015 3:31:12 PM

Pros: Under minimum load, keeps my AMD at about 30c. Under higher loads, I've seen it go as high as 34c. I don't overclock, and I haven't used all 8 cores in my CPU yet, but it's already 20c lower than the case fan allows.

Cons: Instructions are confusing. Sometimes you need pictures, sometimes you need words, sometimes you need both. This only came with some small pics to show installation, which was really confusing when it came to installing. Keep in mind, you will likely have to unmount the CPU fan brackets on the MB - therefore this is best for new builds because there's no obvious or practical way to install this to an already installed MB. That said, I feel like the unit has this as a design flaw: As this supports both AMD and Intel processors, and the MB layout for those processors are standardized in regards to how the unit attaches, then it should be able to mount directly to processor fan bracket. Instead, you have to remove it, and the plate underneath, in order to install the cooler's hardware. Seems like the current design, in this regard, was a little lazy.

Overall Review: I'm using this for a personal ESXi 6 server, so I needed this system as cool as possible, because I want to eventually have up to 5 VMs running on this thing simultaneously. Does the trick so far10/16/2015 3:17:56 PM

Pros: Seems to work fine. more than enough power to do what I want with the new build. Hasn't failed yet. Quiet, or I can't hear its fan through the slight hum of the other fans I got in the case.

Cons: cables could be just a little longer. Some of them are long, but my thoughts are the more Watts the PS produces, the more space assumed in the case, thus longer the wires. I know this is not perfect logic, so no egg removal for it.

Big, heavy, but awesome10/16/2015 3:10:57 PM

Pros: The airflow is amazing in this. There's lots of bays, including bays for quick removal, but thanks to the enormous size of the box, filling up these bays seems to have no impact on airflow. Creative design - everything I see makes sense to me. No screaming "who, in the world, designed this!"

Cons: heavy, bigger than what you might expect. I'm the typical guy that doesn't RT(F)M, so I found the layout a bit confusing at first. Then I did RT(F)M, and it didn't really help me out. Trying to figure out how to mount everything was not completely and immediately obvious. Not docking any stars for it, because I figured it out, and it works awesome. Also, this is the first time I ran into issues with wire management due to the inside of the case being larger than expected. You will need a lot of zip ties, unless you are smarter than I.

Works, but it's not a "Pro" controller1/9/2015 4:07:17 PM

Pros: ►Got it just in time, barely, but still qualifies. ►Works as expected ►Cheap

Cons: ►Specifically chose this seller as it indicated it was located in the USA... I guess it gets shipped from overseas, so, yeah, took a while to get here in comparison to a US-based seller. Didn't like being misled. ►This is not the "pro" game pad layout, my son told me, and he's right. I thought it was based on the pic (no, I didn't look that hard at it) and the description. Looks like I *may* need to buy 2x more of the right configuration... but we'll see.

Overall Review: It was a cheaper alternative to in-store brands for the new Wii U we just bought the kids for Christmas.

Cons: I guess I need to input a con or two in order to submit this review. Ahem. Ok... um... yeah, no... sorry, I got nothing.

It is what it is12/20/2014 3:46:59 PM

Pros: 1) Specs are generally accurate. 2) It will function for what I need it to. 3) cheep for what it is. 4) came with what appears to be a brand new keyboard and mouse. Thank goodness, otherwise it would have just been gross! 5) Was very well packaged, in my humble opinion.

Cons: 1) Came with a 64GB HDD, not the described 80GB drive. (minus one egg) 2) Monitor plastic casing seems have seen better days 3) all components show a little more than the expected wear and tear, but it does not diminish the functionality. 4) this was obviously deployed as an image... 180 Windows updates NOT included in the image... which takes forever. 5) does not come with a DVD contain windows if you need to re-install. This is a $2-$5 thing - come on. Refurbisher laziness or, perhaps, scrooge syndrome.

Overall Review: 1) Not sure why this was deployed with a 32-bit OS when the processor is x64 and the board can handle 8GB RAM. Neither can be fully leveraged with x86 OS. Again, I think this is laziness on the side of the refurbishers. 2) In case you don't know, the little turning knob thingy on the back releases the computer case cover. I didn't know that, but curiosity got the better of me. Guess what? You can't get the cover back on until you unscrew and remove the case from the stand. (sigh) 3) Kind of slow, but I expected that for what this is. I'll replace the RAM at some point (mine came with 2x1GB sticks, so guess I'll have to buy 2x2GB to get the most of the 32-bit OS).

Quiet, fast and easy2/11/2010 4:08:15 PM

Pros: -Price -Fast -SUPER Quiet (at least in contrast to what it replaced). I never hear it... Ever.

Cons: none I am aware of.

Overall Review: I replaced a Hard drive that I *thought* was bad... apparently old drive just had a corrupted file system (I didn't really test until later). Regardless, I replaced it with this and I was immediately impressed. It was MUCH quieter than the original. Now it's being nominated for the "Customer Choice Award"...
