Pros: You get 8 infrared cameras that let you cover the major positions around your home. You can view video, play back recorded video, and even adjust all DVR settings live over the Internet or LAN using the included Netviewer program. Viewing it over LAN (I ran a 50' CAT6 cable from my router to the DVR) makes it convenient to mount the DVR in a central position in the house so that the 60 feet of cable for each camera will be sufficient in most cases. The email notifications really work; you get an attached photo from whichever camera detected motion. The iPhone/iPad Ap really works - within its limitations.

Cons: The cameras have a very narrow field of view and require placing the camera farther back than you might think to cover large areas. By placing further back, it may negate the illumination at night by infrared. The cameras use infrared 24/7. This causes typical color shade reversing where dark objects appear lighter and light objects appear darker than they really are - even in daylight. The motion sensors easily capture anything moving such as: shadows of trees on a sunny, windy day (even when the tree itself is not in the camera's FOV), spider webs glowing in the infrared light being pushed by the wind, and the smallest of moths flying across camera's FOV (even with that channel's sensitivity set to lowest setting). The iPhone Ap does not let you view recorded video - only live video from your various cameras. You can capture stills from the video feed, however, which are placed in your photos folder.

Overall Review: It took me - all by myself - about 12 hours to install 8 cameras, run all the cables, adjust camera angles, and remotely locate the DVR in a central position of the house. I live in Florida and made sure to only go crawling through my attic in the early morning hours since by midday it reaches 130+ F up there. I have never installed anything like this before, but I am a real fix-it guy that can install most things computer related. I got the LAN settings to work easily so that I was able to make adjustments from my computer, which was about 40 feet and two rooms away from where I mounted the DVR. However, I had to call their tech support to help get the router set to allow viewing over the Internet. They had to create settings to allow port forwarding, which was too difficult for me. Even with all the limitations of the system listed, I like it! Considering what a great deal I got on it, it sure beats $30 per month for a monitored alarm system. Pros: The photos and video this thing takes are truly outstanding. The display looks amazing. It performed great for the first 6 months.

Cons: The Galaxy S II GT-i9100 is an international version not intended for US distribution. You will not get warranty service from Samsung. You cannot access current drivers from Samsung's website either since it auto-detects the region of your IP address and sends you to the US portion of the website which does not list this model. Your best hope of support is foreign-based forums.

Overall Review: My phone has now developed an issue with the USB port on the phone where it will no longer allow it to connect to my computer. It also will not allow the phone to charge. As I have discovered, this problem is now popping up in several forums quite often for people in other countries. Samsung, in those places, claims it is water intrusion. I do not see that as my cause. So now charging my battery must be done outside the phone. I managed to locate and purchase an external charger and two batteries on Axxxxn. I found a fix, but it requires buying a new $12 PC Board from Hong Kong on exxy, opening the phone, and replacing it. I think I'll just use this phone as I am until it no longer works and consider myself schooled on buying international electronics - even if they are at a great price.

Pros: The debug LEDs feature on this board came in real handy in isolating the problem. I commend MSI highly for having this feature.

Cons: The first board lasted about two hours. Just long enough to get the OS installed, fully updated, and working how I wanted. Then it went blank. I could not even get to the BIOS. It is especially irritating to run into these issues on a build with all new components and having to isolate the culprit.

Overall Review: Although I ran into a faulty board, the built-in debug LEDs helped determine that it was the board at fault. Therefore, I still recommend this product. It took about two weeks to get the replacement and everything with the new board is working well for a few months now. Even with the hassles I am happy with the end result.

Pros: They look more like regular light bulbs, use only 6.5 watts, produce a brighter white light, appear to produce more light than the 40W incandescent bulbs they replaced, produce much less heat (no obvious radiant heat felt either), and were a great value.

Cons: It takes a couple tenths of a second from the time you flip the light switch until they actually light up.

Overall Review: I bought 2-4pks of these to replace 8 each 40W incandescent clear globe bulbs in the master bath along the top of the double vanity mirror. They provide a brighter white light than the globes did. The clear globes, because of the heat they generated, would scorch the dust that naturally collects and had to be removed and scrubbed to clean them. What a PITA! Hopefully, these will not be so troublesome. My wife was a little weary at first because of the whiter light, but she likes them now that she can see better while applying makeup. This light fixture went from using 320 watts down to 52 watts. Less electricity and less heat with more light: a win-win-win situation!

Pros: Wide Field Of View (52 degrees), fully adjustable camera angle, weatherproof, full color and infrared. It works w/ Nightowl DVRs!

Cons: Poor documentation. It looks like somebody took the original Chinese and put it through _oogle Translate and printed the literal translation - no language works that way.

Overall Review: I had purchased a Nighowl DVR 8 channel unit back in April and one of the cameras failed. Since I was never happy with the FOV on the original cameras, I bought this one. It has the same power supply requirements (12v) and hooked right up to Nightowl's power supply and BNC video connectors. This camera's 52 degree FOV is much wider than the 30 I had with original unit. I will buy more - found some cheaper than Newegg elsewhere, though.

Pros: Good feel to the checkered grips down the sides. All but one of the openings were spot-on. I like it.

Cons: It was not a perfect fit. I have the Galaxy S II GT i9100 and this case was misaligned around the secondary microphone opening at the top next to the headphone jack. I had to use a razor blade to remove about 1/8 of an inch of the TPU case in order to expose it.
