Update of my review

HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card
HT OMEGA STRIKER 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Heavy Duty Engineered in the USA No mail in rebate or free cheap headset gimmicks. Customer service agents are really quick to find a solution to a problem, and they return your emails fast. The sound from this card is better than a woman.

Cons: Quality control can be a little bit better. We all know something will sneak through every once in awhile, I just happened to be that one.

Overall Review: When I first bought the card there was a quality control issue with one of the metal pins on the FP Audio connector. I attempted to return the product to the company not realizing that new egg had a 1 year warranty on the product. After an exchange of emails with HTOmega, I seemed to have lost one of their emails with the RMA information. Not realizing they emailed me the RMA info, I gave the card a bad review based upon not having received the RMA info. When Howard of HTOmega caught wind of my review(yes they read our reviews)within 1 business day I had a new card (Yes 1 business day), the only question asked was where do we send it. Now that is rockin customer service. AMD has excellent customer service, but these guys are even better than AMD. Don't be fooled by the gimmicks of their major compeititor. They will give you some free 1$ head sets or a 50$ rebate just to get you to buy their junk. HT Omega is a small company that just wants you to give them a shot. And you should.

Terrible Performance

Rosewill RNX-A9-EX - Indoor 2.4GHz 9dBi Antenna with Extension Cable - Detachable, Omni-Directional
Rosewill RNX-A9-EX - Indoor 2.4GHz 9dBi Antenna with Extension Cable - Detachable, Omni-Directional

Pros: None

Cons: Item didn't work. I have a Dlink DWA533 capable of using 3 Antennas. I tried Each of my 3 antennas seperately to see if there was difference in the number of wireless Networks available and to check the reception strength of my host network. My other two Antennas worked great. While testing this one, I noticed this one was no different then using nothing at all. Bottom line it didn't work.

Overall Review: I also purchased a Rosewill RNX-A5 2.4 GHz Indoor 5 dBi High Performance Detachable Omni-Directional Antenna and it worked way better then this one.

Great Mid Range Processor

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO5200CZBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO5200CZBOX

Pros: Works great. Not much slower than processors priced more. Doesn't overheat. 2MB of L2 Cache, I think this is what keeps its performance up to the same par as it's higher priced brethren processors.

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: I also have a build with a 6000+ and honestly I can't tell the difference in the speed or performance. If you're looking to build a box on a budget I would go with this one and some cheap mobo with on board graphics or a really really cheap graphics card. Even with onboard graphics I simply dial down the in game graphics for newer games and turn them up for older ones which gives me very few problems (only driver related).
